I have to go down a star here due to the sheer price increase of the units which is happening more…read moreand more often. When I first came here my unit was $89 per month. That was a fair price. Now that same unit is $182. That is outrageous. They also went up from $50 to $70 for liens which doesn't really make sense either. If we can't pay our monthly payment, or other payments, how are we going to pay the $70 for the lien notice fee? Raising fees for people who already obviously don't have money doesn't work. They can't give you what they don't have. This is just greed from the owners who are probably already millionaires. The only time storage units at this price are worth it is if you're storing things that are very expensive - 10 $15k TV's, a bunch of expensive computers, or things that you cannot replace, etc. Don't waste your money storing a couch and a kitchen table. Sell them and buy new ones when you're where you end up. If you plan on having to store things for more than a year then just sell whatever you can instead. You'll save yourself a ton of money and thank me later. The only things that should be stored for longer than a year are things that cannot be replaced. Another drawback is not being able to access our units 24/7. In the heat of the summer it would be so much easier to be able to go in at night and do things but we can't here. An old storage place I used had 24/7 access so I'm not sure why this one doesn't. We have to enter a code to get in so you know who it is plus there's cameras everywhere. We can't do anything until the fall or winter because it's too hot. Basically, only store things that you can't afford to lose. Everything else, sell it, then buy something else when you get to where you're going.

When we first started at the locally owned facility, the price was $100/month for the first 10x10. We had added another 10x10 in the new area for $80/month. Now the rooms are almost $350, close to double for the same space! Since StorageSense.com took over, the system automatically charges for insurance, taking it to $400, more than double our long term costs! That sheds doubt on the value of what we store there, making me feel foolish. We really are disappointed in the storage options.

I made the online reservation a few weeks in advance as I was coming to Bossier City from Northern California. My fiancé already living in town, ended up having to take over my reservation due to my arrival after the 28+ hour drive being after business hours. I had beaten the ladies to the chase with touching bases on the day before my arrival, we had a great lil chuckle about that; same brain wave length we was on haha. Khari was especially AMAZING in helping & understanding the whole issue of my arrival time so she got my fiancé all set up so that we were able to access it with ease. The funniest part is that we still ended up getting there past the after hours access time frame, so we unloaded the next day & as I had a ginormous plethora of my collections of life, just strewn across the driveway- the ladies rolled by and introduced themselves. Loved them immediately even more! Amazing personalities, sweet temperaments & great expertise advice ! They took one look at me attempting to begin Tetris-ing my stuff into a 5x10. Miss Tracy honestly expressed that with her 8+ years of experience she could tell that my belongings would not fit! I didn't even skip a beat in saying, "NEXT SIZE RING ME UP!" They assured me it was simply due to my belongings, they weren't trying to up sale for the sake of up selling & I assured them that I truly trusted their professional expertise! K smoothly got my fiancé all legally situated with the switch over & I was able to get my treasured belongings beautifully arranged in a manner that allows me to easily access anything that I could suddenly need! When I told him that wouldn't cut it, and that I was going to leave a review everywhere I could find, he BLOCKED me. We are going to small claims court please please please dont use this company. This is what happened to me after listening to the movers scream profanity at each other for hours while they moved me. The reason my things are ruined is because one of the movers was so messed up out of his mind...he couldn't hold himself up. His eyes were rolling to the back of his head. The property manager new rats were there, had been in my unit putting down poison and didn't even have the decency to call me and tell me. When I asked I was told "we tried to handle it ourselves without bothering any of the renters". They said another renter behind me had food in their unit and it brought the rats to mine. Secondly they will not work with you on payments. The goal is to sell your things at auction after one month's missed payment! The following month your things are gone through, thrown around(broken or opened!) and priced for them to sell. When I moved out I couldn't even throw things away in the dumpster on site per the property manager Anisa ! I had to put boxes full of rats nest and droppings into my car and transport to a dumpster off site. This was the worst experience I've had renting a storage ever. I would never use them again.

Review is for U-Haul rental. I-Haul was due at 9am when the store opened. Returned truck after…read morestore opened, which they stated we would then be charged $60 for an additional day. Even entering the time of return at 9am, when Chubby Hole opened, still indicated a late return. Tried calling U-Haul and had to wait for a supervisor to call back. Told the desk employee that if we got it resolved with U-Haul they had the keys, if not we were coming back for the keys to use the truck for another day. Contacted U-Haul who also contacted Chubby Hole. U-Haul stated we were getting charged an additional day, so we said we would go get it and use it for the additional paid day (which is fine as we have items for dump haul-away). We go back to get the truck and the Chubby Hole has given up the truck to the U-Haul "area manager" despite being told we may would be back to get it. We can only assume to send it off to another location/ on another rental, despite having paid for the truck another day. We expect to be refunded. The truck was returned this morning, and cleaned out in the 15 minutes while we were there returning it before anyone was there for rental. If we charged and paid for additional day of use, then we should have it in our possession. The truck should not have been taken by the "manager." Spouse was in uniform, so preying on military is probably something these guys like to do. So shady. Stay away.

Each staff member can tell you what box it needed for what item. They are great there.
