First off; allow me to thank Sal, Jose and every member of the Platinum CREW (Gents, I think you…read morehave some new shirt ideas lol). Anyhow; I have dealt with a few companies in the past and was Nothing short from either disastrous or problematic. I was surprised to encounter a professional group of guys who were not only respectful to the job site, homeowners and were early risers hitting the ground running. They knocked out a lot daily tasks for such a tremendous amount of work. As you can see; my backyard was highly neglected. From having issues with dog digging up my water lines to just giving up. It wasn't until I decided to invest in some peace of mind on pavers and a concrete wall (neighbors you're welcome on the massive increase I've gifted you) but more so Securing a private compound for my family. It was then that I decided to start with the pavers project adding on that concrete wall thereafter. Although it wasn't the cheapest (but CERTAINLY NOT expensive) as many other companies in the area quoted me; I believe Jose provided me with a good fair price considering the amount of stone involved. After experiencing their professionalism, time and work ethic within a couple days into the project, I knew I made the right choice. Sal kept the Rhythm of this project moving forward showing leadership and sense of urgency. Beginning the day at 7-7:30, these gents were on it!! Every day they left, I saw progression. This is always one of the most important factors for any homeowner. Get it done quick BUT efficiently. Along the lines with jobs of this caliber, things can get damaged. Some small stuff was inadvertently damaged and immediately SAL took ownership and fixed the problem. There was no discussion or blame. Accountability was top priority. I honestly would have ended my review in 2-4 lines but these guys are worth giving detail for. I never experienced workers coming at the time they said they would be there (daily) and truly work while making sure they kept it tidy for the next day. As I said to Sal and Jose, I would be more than happy to be a reference if they ever need it. I am so convinced that if something went wrong with my finished project (even weeks after) they would come out to fix it to make sure it's done right. That's the type of company and guys you're hiring for your next project. Guys that care about their work, quality and reputation as a leaders in this field. Thanks again gentleman for the great work!!

At my preliminary visit, my lawn was a mess--it hadn't been mowed in over four months. But he gave me hope, and with his care, my yard has truly come back to life. Not only that, but they solved a persistent flooding issue by installing a French drain--and for the first time since I moved in, after these recent heavy rains, my home stayed dry. Truly outstanding service!" Does that capture the feeling you were going for?

After a few "misses" I went to Home Depot Pro Contractor Resources and Tools online page in search of contractors as my sister had some good luck in the past. I reached out to Gabriel from Mariano Landscaping and, after a long drive up the hill, he arrived on time and we discussed a large-scale project I've been considering but really wanted the insight of a professional. And Gabriel delivered just that. When you go to a mechanic, if you don't know much about cars, you're pretty much at their mercy. Not much different with contractors. So when I hear someone say, "You don't really need this done," as Gabriel did, they've earned my trust immediately. He explained all the options that were on the table, the benefits and drawbacks of each and really took the time to make sure I had as much information as possible. There are smaller jobs I needed to have done and, if he's available, Gabriel and his team will get my business. I'm more than happy to pay a little more for travel time when I know the work will be done professionally by someone with real knowledge. HIGHLY RECOMMENDABLE

Unreliable and Overpriced - Avoid Mariano's Landscape…read more I hired Mariano's Landscape (based in Moreno Valley) in December 2024 to landscape my backyard. From the start, the experience has been frustrating and disappointing. Their services are expensive, and I expected quality work. Unfortunately, that's not what I received. The owner, Gabriel Mariano, planted diseased trees and assured me they would recover in warmer weather or be replaced. Months later--after numerous phone calls and site visits--nothing has been done. Communication has been all talk, with no follow-through. The concrete patio was another major issue. It was poured with a weak sand-and-cement mix that lacked any gravel or aggregate. I raised concerns, and they promised a quality control inspection would visit the job-site. No one ever came and Gabriel could not provide the name or license number of the concrete subcontractor they used. Bottom line: once they're paid, they disappear. They don't stand behind their work or resolve problems. I do not recommend Mariano's Landscape. The pictures speak for themselves.
