I decided to go to an allergist to find out she is allergic to our cat! They just wanted me to not even get testing .... I called bc my daughter is having medical issues and they had the medical assistant(no bachelors degree even ) call me back... not even nurse . The nurse has told me two times that things my daughter ate is "normal" and not a worry. Now the doctors are telling me it's very concerning and I need to come in. I'm switching to a different pediatrician in st Luke's they are telling me they don't know why coopersburg is asking us to come in, she just needs bloodwork. It's very frustrating I'd avoid if you can!

I will say she was very quick with her appointment, but I am not complaining at all. She's been doing these wellness visits for a long time & knows what's normal vs what's abnormal. She seemed like just more of a fast-paced person- my husband and I didn't take it personally & didn't feel rushed at all. We got a ton of great quality information in a short time. Also, the office staff was awesome. I spoke to them a few times on the phone prior to the visit & the staff was so nice when I was there in person today. If you're looking for a doctor that is looking to help keep your kids healthy & looking for alternative medicines other than *only using western medicine (or a combo of western + natural) Dr. Caso might be a really good fit for you. 5/5.

I want more wholistic care for my baby. I came with a lot of questions as we are going through some health needs with her and I have had concerns about the conventional treatments. Dr. Caso wouldn't let me finish a sentence! She decided she knew what I was going to say before I said it and wasted our appointment telling me everything I already knew and never addressing the things I didn't know. Dr. Caso has an alternate vaccine schedule but was completely unwilling to talk about why. When asked specific questions she "didn't have time to discuss conspiracy theories" but neither was she willing to discuss her concerns and what she is seeing that causes her to believe an alternate plan is necessary, or how the one that she follows is better and solves the perceived issue. I would like to know why she is doing what she is doing. Show me that your way is better! What articles can I read that educate me on your point of view? What information is out there that gives me confidence that this is best? I expect scientific information and a doctor that has come up with her own plan better have a good reason and should be ready to discuss it. I don't need a conclusion, I need the science that is behind her method. I think that is a reasonable request. She was also very rough with my daughter. She grabbed her and started poking around her privates without ever looking at her, speaking to her, making her feel safe. It was very aggressive and uncalled for. An exam was necessary, that treatment was not! She man handled my daughter and is the first person my baby ever cried for! I also do not appreciate that the scale is in the hallway and I had to carry my daughter naked in front of 3 teenage boys and a full waiting room. Not acceptable. She may be a baby but she is a person and deserves some dignity. The whole experience was very negative. I nursed her in the car because I could not get out of that office fast enough. I will go back to my conventional doctor that cares about my daughter, is kind to her, and treats her with dignity and respect. She will take the time to answer my questions the best she can and I will keep doing my own research. So very disappointed.

She's very old school in that she's practical and no nonesense which is refreshing! Her office staff is really pleasant but often gets the billing wrong. Luckily we're patient and happy to put up with paperwork hassles that occasionally come up. The staff also tries really hard to get your children in and seen by Dr. Jan if they're not feeling well. I ask for help..... "we don't do that, you need to call your insurance company" You also sign a form that basically says if they bill wrong you pay. Unfortunately I need to visit the doctor 2 or 3 times per year and this is important to me.

Like at so many medical practices the office staff can really be a make or break for wanting come back and the office staff at the Walbert Avenue location is truly inept. Due to scheduling issues I had to see a different doctor for the procedure & follow up visits than I saw for the initial consultation. All fine except that doctor does not accept my insurance. Every other doctor in their practice does and I was even told he accepted it but when the EOB came I got a "little surprise". A different person at the Walbert Avenue location also scheduled me at another one of their locations for a follow up visit and at NO TIME was that ever conveyed to me. Imagine my surprise showing up at Walbert Avenue, sitting for fifteen minutes then being told that my appointment was made with the same doctor, at another office location and I was now late for that appointment. The office manager at the other location was apologetic but said that "things like this happen alot from the Walbert staff especially the Saturday staff". Good to know. Hopefully I have no need to ever go back but if I do I will do my best to aviod the Walbert Avenue location as in general terms the office staff, sucks.
