I am writing a great review for a sh*tty business! Ha ha ha…read more So, we found Mr. Helmer on a frantic search after another septic repair company bailed on some emergency work we needed done. Stanley and his son Aaron came out the day after we called for help, came in very close in price to our original estimate AND they did all the work the same day. We had a MAJOR problem that involved every homeowner's worst nightmare (cutting through concrete and digging up the ground!!) but they finished in less than four hours and we were only without use of plumbing for maybe half that time. Stanley took the time to explain EVERYTHING and assured us that he was treating the project as though it was his own home. It helped that he's also a super personable guy and knows a ton because he's been around forever. Not only did he win our business for this job but now we will call him for our regular pumping needs too. Thanks so much for helping us out of a pretty desperate situation and being super fair and kind to us!

Moving everything we've accumulated over the years in the basement is not easy work, but his guys did it cheerfully, respectfully and quickly. I couldn't have been more impressed. The drying out process went very well and we had our basement dry in 3 days. Jerry handled everything with our insurance company by writing up a very detailed claim and meeting with our adjuster to explain the situation. He and his crew took a fairly unfortunate experience and made it easy and stress free.

Econo Sewer & Drain charged me over $500 to clear roots from sewer pipes in November, 2025. Soom…read moreafter that I discovered that the sump pump caused the water back up. This weekend my basement flooded again. I called a different local company who came this morning and cleared a huge amount of roots that would have taken 3 years, and likely many more, to build up. I don't know what Econo Drain did last year but thankfully I didn't choose the hydro jet option which was over $1,000. Used to be a great company- reliable and honest. Not under the new ownership.

Two technicians came to inspect our drain with a camera and offered a $550 clean-out(including the…read morecamera inspection) or $1,200 hydro jetting. We chose the $550 option. After their equipment got stuck and more technicians had to come out, 4 employees spent nearly 4 hours in our basement and told us the line was free n clear & the job was done. Lie Two weeks later our drain backed up again. When I called, I was told the service wasn't guaranteed and I'd have to pay another $550 for them to return. In a condescending way he told me I should have taken the advice of his technicians and done hydro jetting. On their Facebook page, they post they are hiring technicians with no experience necessary/ will train on the job. So their technicians of high experience are always right? That should have been my first red flag. 2nd Red Flag is we didn't realize they are under new ownership. We were never shown the camera footage they claimed that proved the line was clear. Instead we were told we should have read our receipt that there's no guarantee. I had to hire another company KSK Sewer & Drain Cleaning who removed a extra large amount of tree roots that clearly hadn't been cleared. Kevin was great & very honest. He told me I don't know what Econo did but clearly they didn't clear the sewer line completely. His service is also guaranteed for 8 months. The service, communication and the lack of accountability by Econo Sewer is beyond frustrating. Do not waste your time or money.

After being told my ring was found (from another company but was going to cost thousands to retrieve; my husband and I looked at other options.) another company came in and told us the following day there was no ring, my heart broke; but I was not giving up. When I contacted Keith he came and scoped the pipe and located it within minutes. I was relieved. Only to then be crushed when it disappeared upon retrieval. Keith spent hours trying to locate my ring even going through cutting through a pipe to get to it. He truly showed compassion and empathy for this devastating incident. The next morning he contacted me and had asked to come back out and rescope the pipe because he just knew he saw my ring and saw how upset I was when it disappeared. I was grateful and so appreciative to have him come back out. Along side Pete; with Econo drain & sewer; a few hours of pacing they came in to show my ring was retrieved. I was beyond grateful for their services and acts of kindness. My emotions were so high and I was just beyond thankful they were able to get my ring out. Highly recommend! Thank you again!!!
