Ive been trying to contact SAS for OVER a month and a half for a refund due to a charge placed on my account! There's always an excuse aka "oh were having issues with spectrum and can not receive calls"... They've havent had a working phone in the 3 weeks+ I've been calling. Let alone the countless amount of emails I've sent with NO RESPONSE!! Also, the wasted times driving there just for no one to be at the front desk. Last time I went there, Aaron (the owner) pretty much couldnt process my refund because his computer system was down and his 'mom' (the one who manages the accounts apparently has been out sick). You're the owner and have been charging an INACTIVE account! They have 0 issues with taking your money, but will run you in circles for a refund!

On July 6th, following a verbal altercation, Professor Ryan Ruiz physically shoved me with both hands in the chest/shoulder area, knocking me to the ground where my head struck the grass. As a result of this physical attack, I sustained a concussion and have since been diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome. I have required multiple hospital visits for ongoing severe dizziness, and the incident has triggered severe emotional distress and aggravated my PTSD. A formal report regarding this conduct has been filed with the Harker Heights Police Department. I strongly advise anyone considering training here to be aware of this situation regarding student safety and conduct. The IBJJF (International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation) Will be receiving my report this week. This type of elder abuse, an abusive a protected veteran cannot be tolerated. I took my child in for a free…read moretrial class, rather than putting her with her own age group, there were grown ass men and women stretching and exercising with these kids. Now why wouldn't any child feel self conscience when you put them with 30 year old black belts and try and teach them stuff? Anyway, we stuck it out for about a half hour, they wouldn't let my child come into formation until she "bowed" before coming onto the mat. Aside from that, the woman with the frizzy hair at the front desk takes this class very seriously and will hound your child if he/she is not moving at the exact same pace as the others. She made my child (let me reiterate that this was her very first class she had no idea what karate was before walking into this building) do ten push ups (which is fine with me for disciplinary reasons) but for not stretching properly? Come on now. At this point, I looked at my child and realized how miserable she looked, I picked her up and grabbed her shoes, we walked out and will never look back. It was a terrible experience, please don't take your children here.
