In spite of all this I purchased a shiny axe with a dark oak handle from them, in part because I wanted to support a local business and in part because it seemed balanced and looked nice. It was not cheap. Now one year later I see that the chrome plating now has some black spots that will not rub out, even though it has been sitting in my bedroom the whole time and I have not used it to cut anything. A quick google search finds that: "This problem of black spots which you are facing seems related to base material defect which you might have failed to notice during pre cleaning stage and the same is appearing over a period of time once plating is completed." In summary- this blade smith sucks.

This was my first time and definitely not my last time coming to integrity small engine repair…read more We spent well over $300 at MELCHERS AND HAD MAJOR PROBLEMS after 2 times of them "fixing it" After being mistreated and yelled at after they crashed into and breaking the stop board on our trailer we went to integrity INTEGRITY IS GREAT! I was able to drop it off only 5 days out no problems and they kept my grandpa and I both informed on the issues, what they did and when pick up was ready. Very nice people very good work. The mower is working better then it has as long as I can remember it and I sat on my grandpas lap as a five year old on it. (Blades off just to go around the loop) it's a special mower with lots of memories and they have it back up and running. Please do not waste your time going to melchers they will charge you double for no work. Thank you integrity, my grandpa and I will now be loyal customers with you.
