I started looking for a locksmith, and I found Catskill Mountain Locksmith and scheduled an appointment. The woman answering the phone was very nice and communicative, and I'm sorry I can't remember her name. I scheduled an appointment, and we checked in once or twice before the scheduled appointment time. I met up with Ryan at a predetermined location. Upon greeting him, I could see that he was a really nice guy too. He had everything he needed in order to program new key fobs for me on the spot. He also helped me out by letting me know that I did not need to have new keys cut, which would have cost even more. By the way I was told by "others" that I would need to cut the keys as well....sure. Ryan was able to program two key fobs, and my original keys still worked. The whole transaction probably took no more than 10 minutes. I was able to pay him with a mobile payment, but he accepted all forms of payment, which was really convenient. Such a good guy, very professional, and he showed up on time and knew what he was doing. I highly recommend Catskill Mountain Locksmith 24-7!

The locksmith - Neal - showed up exactly on time and after he inspected my house, told me I already had good quality locks on the door, and it would be smarter and much less expensive if he re-keyed the cylinders and made new keys, instead of replacing the locks outright. Neal even managed to make the doors all open from the same key! Neal is a man of integrity! He's an honest locksmith who does excellent work for a reasonable cost. After such a positive experience, I highly recommend Access Locksmiths and I won't use anyone else!

After reaching out via phone, he was super responsive and said he could squeeze in some odd job work on a Saturday. He asked me to confirm with him Friday. I did. Pete was a no show at our 9am arrival time; all good, things happen and contractors always have a little grace period. 9:30, nothing. I'd planned my day around letting him in/confirming scope of work, so I called. He said no problem, he was on his way, he'd be there in 20 minutes. I said great, I'm running out for one errand and I'll leave the door open for you. We'd already discussed what he could start on. He never showed. I texted. He never responded. I followed up via phone call. No response; mailbox full. I know contractors are a hot commodity these days, but woof this was a crappy experience. If you can't show, don't say you're on your way then leave your client in a lurch.
