I loved my old locksmith. He didn't just fix our locks when needed, but he also threw in some of his homemade hot sauce, and most importantly, he made me laugh. But he moved to Florida, leaving us heartbroken and with no one to turn to for rekeying. So I was in the market for a new guy, and I'm glad I found Marc here on Yelp. First of all, Pop N Lock? Great name. We reached out here, and immediately Marc was responsive, easy to communicate with through text, and we set up an appointment right away. He was on time, nice, and he handled the business. Prices are fair (the service call was $75), and I have no complaints. Well, there is the matter of the hot sauce, but we'll see how it goes from here. We'll definitely use Pop N Lock again. read more

I called Mark the day before we needed his help replacing old locks on a house and installing 3 combos. He was so quick to answer my questions over the phone, even though I didn't have exact information about what we needed on our end. During the entire installation process, he kept us in the loop on was happening. Even when we had one door that had some weirdness going on, he engineered a solution to more properly secure it until we replace it in the future. We also had to leave for another appointment while Mark was there and he was great at communicating and coordinating around our schedule. Mark couldn't be more friendly and is great at what he does. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Quick turnaround, very professional, and very fair pricing! Rekeyed several locks on multiple doors and made us copies of the keys! He was such a nice guy and I'd highly recommend his company! We will be using him going forward for any key work we need and will suggest him to our neighbors as well! read more

Mark is excellent, cannot recommend enough. If you want to be treated honestly, fairly, and kindly, Mark would lose a foot before he would over charge you. Lost my only copy of motorcycle keys and Mark came out and had a new set in 30 minutes that fit all the the lock points. Super friendly and respectful. Charged less than half of what another guy quoted me. I know who I'm calling if I ever get locked out! read more

Mark came and met me late at night after I lost my car keys and had work the next morning. Pop n Lock was great. Easy to schedule, nice to work with, would definitely hire them again!

I lost my keys to the Thule pulse alpine roof box and messaged Pop N Lock at 3am in the morning. Marc has quickly responded to me with the part to obtain from REI. Marc tirelessly replaced the lock to my roof box in finger freezing weather. He quickly figured out the locking mechanism of the box while it was heavily snowing outside. Marc's friendliness and efficiency made lock replacement feel really quick. read more

Marc did an amazing job! One of the locks he replaced was a more complicated task than anticipated and he went above and beyond until it was fitted properly. He even gave us guidance around how to replace something in our french doors even though it had nothing to do with the locks. His prices are more than fair and he seems like an all around great and trustworthy guy. We definitely recommend! read more

While camping in our RV, we went to walk the dogs and the door locked behind us. I called Mark at Pop n lock access at 8:25 on a Sunday morning and at 9:00 Mark arrived. He had us in the RV in less than 10 minutes! The service was better than I could have hoped for and the rate was more than reasonable. Thank you Mark! read more

Marc did an amazing job with re-keying our new house. We had some issues with two locks not having a key but he easily solved them. He also provided some options with a sticky lock and a door that didn't even have a deadbolt hole. He handled it all easily and quickly and explained it so I could understand what he was doing. And on top of all that, he able to schedule a next day appointment when we needed it. Great service and experience! read more

Would never think of using any other locksmith. read more

I had Mark come by today to make a new fob key for my car. These keys aren't easy to make, and they require special equipment that only the pros have. Mark charged me a very fair price for something that would've cost a fortune had I went to a dealer. He was able to do everything at my house very quickly. He saved me hundreds of dollars and a trip to an annoying dealership. Highly recommend read more

I contacted Pop N Lock Access after losing my car keys, Mark was able to help me in no time, communication was fast and easy, and he answered all my questions.... very knowledgeable guy. If I could give Mark and his company more than 5 stars I would! I purchased a Honda Civic from a dealership that only came with one set of keys so needed a duplicate. Called several locksmiths for a quote - finally called Pop & Lock and Mark answered who listened to my needs and offered a VERY reasonable price. I agreed to the price, then we scheduled to meet at a safe, public location on Saturday. He arrived on time, in a clean, well-stocked mobile locksmith vehicle. Extremely friendly and professional - he cut and copied my key right on the spot and explained every step of the process. After he tested his work and everything passed with flying colors, I was more than happy to give him my money. He will be my go-to locksmith from here and out! read more

Marc was very professional and friendly. Communicated well, arrived on time and rekeyed a couple of locks for us. No complaints at all and would definitely call on him again. read more

Wow, where do I begin? Let me just start off by saying that Mark is heaven sent! My fiancé and I found ourselves in a really horrible situation involving our car key. When I tell you we called dozens of locksmiths near the Catskills area to resolve this problem, I am not exaggerating. Pop N Lock Access was literally my hail Mary being that he was so far from us, but i called and with no hesitation Mark was willing and ready to help us- and he did! Mark is reliable, quick and so very professional! If it weren't for Mark I would've easily spent 1k to resolve this issue at the Lexus dealer. I've never posted a review before.. ever! but I just had to for this company. Mark, you're the man! You are so appreciated, you don't even know! Thank you a million!!!! read more

I can not stress enough what a terrific experience I had with Mark of Pop N Lock Access locksmith. Mark was diligent & determined in his task. Would give 0 stars if I could. Not only is this guy nearly impossible to reach, but also a terrible liar and time waster. Called him at least 7 times as I was trying to get duplicate keys made for my BMW. Every time I called he said he would get back to me, call me back, and never did. This went on for over a week. I definitely recommend Mya Locksmith for any locksmith work, quick response as well as better pricing. When Mya Locksmith say they will call you back they will. And they also did work for me that this locksmith said he couldn't. Honestly this guy and his business is a fraud. read more

I don't even have words for how thankful I am I found Mark... My 17 year old new driver son drove from NJ to Katerskill falls to go hiking.. Over a 2.5 hour drive from home.. While hiking he lost his car keys somewhere along the way. At 730 at night he realized and was the only one left in the park.. We called the local police for help and they could offer no assistance with finding a local locksmith. I make 25 calls and no one answered. I came across Mark's number.. And he picked right up.. He was over 2 hours away and when I told him my son's situation he did not hesitate to help. The local police transported my son to a safe spot about 10 minutes away from the park. Mark got in his van and headed his way. He even picked my son up where the police bought him. It was almostwent back to my son's car and Mark was able to make a new key for his vehicle and get him safely on the road home. As a mom with her son stuck so far away I dont know what would have happened if I didn't find Mark.. I am forever grateful he helped me get him home safely. He even made an extra emergency key for his car so he can hide it so he doesn't end up in this situation again... Highly recommend I would give 100 stars if I could! Thank you read more

After coming home from a work even at around 11:30 pm, I realized my significant other had fallen asleep without unlocking the door for me (of course I didn't have my keys either). After some time panicking and debating on what to do, I began looking for emergency locksmiths, and Mark's number popped up. His website had listed that he provided 24/7 emergency services- this was my last hope and thankfully he answered rather quickly. After 1.5 hours of picking and eventually drilling, he was able to open the door. Thank you Mark for your persistence, your patience, and your availability at such a late time!! Not sure what would have happened if they didn't offer 24/7 emergency services. Would absolutely recommend! read more

The day after Christmas is practically a holiday. You let your hair down after all the family gathering and gift giving , hoping to spend the day and night relaxing. ... but for me, I locked myself out while just taking the garbage out!!! I immediately called two (supposed) 24/7 locksmiths, of which neither answered, leaving me with the option of a message. Why waiting, I called Pop-N-Lock as a last resort. On the second ring a friendly voice answered and said, yes we are open in your area! He showed up in less than 20 mins and in less than 5 mins later my door was open!! No new lock necessary either!! He was prepared with multiple payment options, either cash or card! What service!!! He was knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and fully prepared to get the job done. As a woman all alone, I felt safe in such a time of need! That's what I call GREAT SERVICE!! Thanks Mark for all your help! I even nicknamed him...Life Saver!! And for those in need of car lock outs, he offers that service too!! So check them out! You won't be disappointed!! read more
