Garage door lock wasn't working, after calling Liberty locksmith at 9am, the owner Rudy was at my home at 9:15 removed the damaged lock went to one of the big box stores and returned at about 9:40 replaced broken lock on the inside of garage and by 9:55 was gone. I recently had a very disappointing experience with Liberty locksmith. I called them for a price quote to have my key fob programmed, which only involves keyless entry, lock, unlock, and a panic button. I provided all the necessary information about my car to the representative. After some research, the locksmith called me back with his findings.He informed me that he strongly recommended taking my key fob to a dealership for programming because he was worried about tripping a code related to remote start, despite my clear explanation that my key fob does not have a remote start button. He was concerned about not being responsible for clearing any codes that might get tripped and reprogramming the key afterward.Even though I reassured him multiple times that the remote start feature was irrelevant, he insisted on the dealership route, which would cost significantly more. This showed a lack of understanding and a refusal to listen to my needs and concerns. Ultimately, the locksmith talked himself out of the sale, leaving me frustrated and without a working key fob. Being 1,250 miles away from my home in Orange County, a situation arose that I felt the need to have all the locks changed in the house.
