We had Coomber construction come out about four years ago now when Mr. Cuba owned the company and…read morehe gave us a quote of $30,000 to put a three car carpool attached to our house. We left it a few months and then we called back and said can you come over and start the work well I'm being known to us. Cobridge sold the company to a guy named Zack Brooks, but still keep the name Coomber construction. He he came out the first time to look at the job and said he would send his engineer out so the engineer came out gave us a bunch a bunch of BS about how it would look and what it would be only to find out that he neglected to take into consideration the grade he got the position of the columns wrong three times. Which had to be taken down and moved .Not k owing anything about building garages ( apparently neither does Zack Brooks ) we let them carry on thinking they would make it right completely the wrong decision his. This was our first time hiring a contractor for anything his subcontractors with the exception of the roof roofing contractor Suncoast roofing did an absolutely garbage job on everything they touched. The garage floor looked like my grandchildren had laid it and had to be sanded grind down and skimmed three times and looked even worse than it did the first time we ended up just having shark coatings come out and doing it he wanted to charge me money for leftover materials by the roofing contractor that we're in that he left on the driveway but my wife moved back into the garage to keep it out of the rain. He said if you want to keep that will charge you $5000. My wife said we don't want the wood take it back and give us a refund well we never saw the refund. This man is all about overcharging under performing and just generally not having any idea what he was doing the only time he turned up at the job site was to pick up a check unfortunately I was out of state working so I wasn't able to keep a good eye on what he was up to the driveway. He charged me $4000 for looks like crap so he sent his guy out to fix it well they brought two more loads of crushed millings to fix the grade put the quality of the mailings are so awful. There are a chunks in there as big as my head during their excavation for the stumble they dug up the waterline because they couldn't be bothered to call call before you did and cut through our waterline which ruined all of our shower, faucets and valves, etc. inside the house which cost us $750 to have a plumber come in and clean them all out. His contract sign was left lying in our yard 10 months which really upset the inspector from the government building inspector.. It was just a litany of awful, awful, awful awful experiences. I wouldn't advise anybody to use this company. I can show you photographs of what happened and my advice is don't use this company. Find a reputable company. My overall opinion of this man is incompetent a rip off artist and only interested in getting money out of his clients not doing the job properly. Just as a footnote the job ended up costing us twice as much as we were initially quoted so angry. How do people get away with this crap and how do they get a contractors license?

We hired United Trades windows and doors of Florida also the same company as United Trades Fence co…read more(is what I was told by both our salesman and the owner's son) to install windows and sliding doors in our beach condo. We were told we had a life time warranty. I contacted them shortly after installation about an issue as our doors are extremely difficult to open and close. I spoke with the owner's son (or at least he said he was) shortly after installation but he didn't come out and he quit answering my calls. I do not recommend doing business with United Trades! They have many companies under United Trades

Pro: Fence after installation looks nice (after a lot of shenanigans I've had to deal with). Cons: -*****Irrigation plumbing in yard was busted during install. This happened right around the same time the internet cable was cut, BUT to avoid detection of doing this, helped themselves to turn off plumbing valve to complete the job without us noticing right away and was NOT communicated in any way. My wife and I noticed within a day or two that irrigation wasn't running at all and through troubleshooting and saw that this crew (Frank/Justin) turned off the valve to sprinkler system. Upon turning it back on, we observed a huge amount of water shooting out of the ground by fence post. It was then we knew what had happened and felt duped.***** This required a service call to sprinkler repair company and got lucky to book one due to most companies being booked out ~2 months in advance. -Internet cable was cut and noticed right away with internet going out when they were digging. When approaching Justin about it, told my wife that he saw the cable but thought it was inactive and proceeded to dig anyhow. This isn't a huge deal, but it was preventable and common sense should've prevailed. Required a service call for temporary line to be ran and follow-up ticket for line to get re-buried. Not a big deal, but definitely an inconvenience. -Constant follow-ups required with getting job scheduled (an uncommunicative Scheduler named Austin) and lack of response from United Trades of Florida (Lifetime Fence). Communication was just awful. Earlier in booking process with Lowes, this company also claimed to have lost power and phone service for a couple of days which was why they were so unresponsive - don't buy that excuse either. -Fence was to be installed on a WED+THUR. On the Thursday the job was to be completed, crew showed up for 30 minutes and left for parts. Yeah, they didn't call or return until the following day without any communication. This is unacceptable as well. So to summarize my rating of this company, it's "1-star". They don't know how to communicate properly, hire unethical/dishonest workers, and quite frankly wouldn't trust them to do anything again. I overpaid Lowes $700-800 for 90 ft. of white, vinyl fence w/ (2) gates to avoid having these kind of characters show up to do the install and knew this going into it during bidding process. My wife and I thought we would get more value/better service from using a bigger company with better access to supply during a tight market on any home improvement commodity, but we were dead wrong on this one! Be careful with this company and watch like a hawk if you have to use for any reason.
