I am so glad I drove from Dublin. I saved over $2,000. I love my Starkey hearing aids.

I mentioned that my husband has had multiple appointments at the same location and we are in network. She ARGUED and YELLED at me about my insurance. After telling her multiple times we are in network, she then called the billing department who told her the same thing and that we are in network which made her even more mad. She then scanned my insurance card after this whole fiasco. It ruined the entire appointment with the doctor because I was so upset about what had happened and how someone representing Ohio ENT would be so unprofessional.

Great personality, fantastic sense of humor and her bedside manner with my 16 year old daughter was AMAZING! Since this is my daughter's first surgery, a tonsillectomy, I am glad to have Dr Ryoo doing it. She takes her position very seriously and made sure to take time with my daughter to ensure she was comfortable with the procedure and allowed her to ask any questions she might have. Tasha, the scheduler, also was very friendly with us as we set up a date for the surgery. I had asked for copies of the documents she had me sign and gladly got them for me. Great place, great staff, great doctor!

I wanted to update my review now that I've had my new hearing aides for a while. I had my hearing…read moreevaluated at American Ear and Hearing by Dr. Adam. It was decided that for the hearing issues I was experiencing, mainly not being able to hear conversations in crowded environments, that hearing aids would be beneficial. I was fitted for a pair and when they came in the following week Dr. Adam walked me through everything I needed to know to take full advantage of my new hearing devices. After wearing hearing aides now for more than 3 weeks I am thrilled with the improvement to my hearing. The first real test of my new hearing aides was in a crowded, noisy restaurant. My wife was talking to me and I was amazed at how these devices zeroed in on her voice so I was able to hear every word she spoke plainly and clearly! And an additional bonus has been how concealed and out of view they are. My Sister-in-law knew I had them but after visiting her and talking with her we were leaving and I asked her what she thought of my hearing aides and she exclaimed "I can't even see them!" She had to look closely at the side of my face to even see them. After that I was talking with our Son and after a few moments he reached out and turned my face to the side. I asked him what he was doing and he said "I wanted to see if you were wearing your hearing aides because you could hear every word of our conversation!" That was a BIG DEAL. When he was younger and before I realized my hearing was diminished I used to ask him to speak more plainly and to stop mumbling. I didn't realize the problem was with me and not him. Several years later after I realized my hearing had faded I came clean during a Family dinner where I apologized to my entire Family, but especially my Son, for making them think my lack of hearing was their fault. Thanks to Dr. Adam and the new hearing aides he helped me select out of the many choices available all that is behind me now! I love hearing plainly again and highly recommend American Ear and Dr. Adam!!

WOW!! What a difference in hearing technology, I had checked out a few other hearing aids or should…read moreI say I purchased another brand before I finally found the hearing aid center inside Sams Club in Reynoldsburg. Tammi is the hearing aid person who really knows her hearing aids, She like other places tested my hearing and all told me basically the same thing about my hearing. Now here is where it starts to get better, I picked out the hearing aids I was interested in learning about and Tammi started telling me all about it, but after a minute or two she said here lets put this in and let me show you what they can do. I have tinnitus and it's pretty bad, you know all the whistling noises in both ears, Tammi started fine tuning these hearing aids, tweaking here and there when it happened, my tinnitus had disappeared! That's right, gone... I had to really listen to see if I could hear my long time friend tinnitus and I just wasn't sure if I was hearing it or not. Tammi had tuned these things to my hearing and I was floored!! I believe I may have shed a tear, after having tinnitus for so long and so loud, sometimes so loud I would panic not knowing if it would every go away. I purchased those hearing aids the same day, Tammi told me these hearing aids have something like 120 channels that allows her to find tune them to help those of us who have tinnitus. I don't know if she can help everyone with tinnitus but if I was reading this review and had tinnitus I would be heading to this store as fast as I could. The molds that came with the hearing aids I found I didn't like, I didn't like the molds that came on the other hearing aids too, so she made a mold of the inside of my ear and had custom molds made for me, another wow factor for me. Did I tell you I can hear my phone calls in my hearing aids? Well, it's true I can hear the people on the phone thru my hearing aids, how nice is that?!?! Hearing phone calls thru my hearing aids is the greatest thing since... well since sliced bread. I could really go on and on but just call Tammi and Sams Club in Reynoldsburg and make an appointment, you will be so happy you did.

My ex got hearing aids here years ago and I remember her saying how much she liked the place. I have a hearing problem, a serious one. Three years of prescription medications, wholistic treatments, laying of hands/prayer, and two different ENT specialists, it was time for a real solution. A quick Yelp search points me in this direction. The reviews were a little confusing, I wasn't sure if this office only served children. One phone call explained the available services and scheduled an appointment with an audiologists within two days. It's not just for kids with speech problems. The building itself is also confusing. There is a playground which gives it an elementary school feel. Once inside it is a regular office building. Rebecca Lockhart is her name. This is one of the best doctor visits I have ever had in my life. Actually, I'm not sure if audiologists are considered doctors. Regardless, she was so kind, knowledgeable, and understanding. She administered every test possible. Ringing, buzzing, humming, graphs, charts, and so on. My hearing was not only tested but I was educated on how hearing and ears work! Basically, I've been misdiagnosed by two specialists, it's not a eustachian tube problem but a cochlea issue. I have irreversible hearing loss in one ear. I'm mad, sad, and way too vain to accept the idea of needing a hearing aide. Jessica comforted me, (I'm broken-hearted, I'm too young for this, yes I'm vain and shallow) schooled me on the types/prices of hearing aides and let me try one out. She also set an appointment with an "ear only" specialist for a second medical opinion. I will forever remember her for the care and compassion she showed. In closing, if you have any issues with your hearing, I strongly recommend you come here and visit Jessica Lockhart. She is very thorough, not only with the office exam but also with follow up care. One last thing, I wasn't aware that most health insurance companies do not cover hearing aides. Total B.S.! I need to find out who I complain to about this!

So Dr. Drankwalter sent me to Premier Allergy to confirm and or rule out allergens while simultaneously having me complete a CT scan. The CT scan confirmed a very bad deviated septum. The allergist confirmed an allergy to mold and pet dander. The surgery was set at Central Ohio Surgical Center and off I went.
