I met with the team and they promised me that they would work with insurance to get me the best rate. They told me iI was covered by insurance so I accepted treatment and for 3 weeks paid the copays that they told me I would owe. Later, they told me that I was not actually covered and they force me to pay the rate, after I accepted and signed a treatment plan. Sounds like a preadotry practice of Bait and switch. read more

I brought my teenage son to this counseling center because he had expressed suicidal thoughts. We have no health insurance we are self pay and pay cash 100% in full for every medical expense. After paying an initial $170 for the assessment we were assigned to a counselor. Our 2nd appointment the counselor came out 15 minutes late, never even acknowledged the fact that she was late and promptly brought him back out at 11 o'clock. 10 minutes into his appointment I step into the hallway to take a phone call and I see his counselor leaving the kitchen with a cup of coffee!! After the appointment my teenage son comes out with a piece of paper she had him draw a picture of how he feels. She printed off a sheet of paper from the computer from 2017 that talks about mindfulness meditation. He told me she did not talk much and he had to produce most of the conversation. He told me he didn't want to be mean but he thinks this is a complete waste of time. Upon learning all of these things I called the office to express my concern. The administrator talked to the counselor and the counselor completely made up a lie and said that she kept my son 15 minutes passed the appointment since she was late. That is completely false. I know this because after her being late then seeing her in the hallway during his appointment I decided to check my watch to see what time he came back. 11:02. Also her office was down the hall from the waiting room I was in. He had to close the appointment walk out of her office, out of that waiting room, down the hall and into the sitting area I was in. She did not come get me at the end of the appointment to see if I had any questions or concerns or even if I wanted to reschedule. She lazily sent me an email asking when the next time we can schedule. 2 weeks prior to this appointment I had to call and reschedule an appointment I had due to financial reasons. I did not want to cancel the appointment I was simply requesting to or move it 2 days later. I understand policy is policy and they charge $75 if you do not cancel or reschedule 48 hours prior to your riginal scheduled appointment. She Charged me That day for $75. I found out today the reason in the computer for my cancelation was I "overslept my alarm". That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard in my entire life!! First of all I have 3 children, all of which are in school. No way am I actually in bed at 11 o'clock in the morning, certainly not over sleeping my alarm. That kind of thing has not happened to me since I was 17!! I have never written a bad review on a company. I am so incredibly frustrated with my experience here. Absolute lies coming from professionals. Drew puts a timer on her clients and just tries to rake every single dollar she can get out of you. Stay away from Drew, she only sees dollar signs and certainly her quality of work is not $140 per hour!! read more

I have been to many counselors over the years and Kathleen Hodges is by far the best counselor I've EVER had. I've been seeing her consistently for about 3 (almost 4) years and could not ask for anyone better! She never fails to hold me accountable while still giving me grace. She's always encouraging me and is one of my biggest cheerleaders in life. I always look forward to her sessions and know I'll walk out with a new perspective and concepts to practice. Therapists who are skilled in multiple areas. I worked here as a clinician and I have also gained professional business consultation services. The model they use as a business is very calming to me as a therapist, professional, sound, ethical and fluid, this is the type of environment needed to provide clinicians a platform to do excellent work with their clients. I have referred many people to the practice as I know they will receive the specialized care they need based upon the clients individual needs. I simply can't believe what this so called counseling service just did to my wife. I did quite a bit of research to find help for my wife who suffers from depression and anxiety. We recently moved to the area and it has been very difficult for my wife as she has no support. She needed someone to support her, speak truth to her and help her through this time of transition. She had her appointment today and the center said that they couldn't help her. She poured out her heart to them stressing how much she needed a Christian counselor and how important Jesus was in her life and they simply said they didn't have the resources to help her. For someone who has extreme sensitivities regarding rejection from her childhood years you can imagine how devastating that would be to hear when you were so hopeful for a Christian influence to help you through a difficult time. I guess if your problems aren't too big this may be a place that can help you. I have never heard of any counseling center anywhere that has licensed people on staff turn someone away because they think their problems are too big to deal with. I'm actually in shock that a group designed to help people would do this. Our experience, needless to say was horrible and damaging. read more

The Live Wellness Center was exactly what I needed-- in fact more than I expected to work out months of cumulative stress. The center is ever so delightfully quiet and clean and efficient. The best part is Jason, the masseuse. He was full of helpful suggestions on how to eliminate some of that stress between visits. I've never used a masseuse as anything but relaxation before but because of Jason's expertise and wonderful nature he's become a new sort of stress therapist. Please do come here and enjoy. But bring him a relaxation CD because he's down to one. read more

I bought a Groupon for a massage to this place. I proceeded to schedule and they wanted my credit card information over the phone. I told them I had a Groupon and that wouldn't be necessary. They told me they take your credit card information so that they could automatically charge you if you miss your appointment. I told them I was not comfortable giving out that information over the phone considering all of the credit card fraud that has been happening. They refused to officially schedule for me until I gave them my credit card information. I then received a call the next day telling me that they needed my credit card information. I refused to give it to them and contacted Groupon to get a refund (Groupon bucks). Nowhere on their website is this policy listed or in the terms of the Groupon. I recommend avoiding this place. I have never had to give out credit card information in advance to schedule an appointment and it seems like a shady place. read more
