Delightful italian restaurant in the heart of Macclesfield.
Be sure to try the mushroom appetizer (along with a brilliant take on the universal "dough balls" which are bathed in garlic).
My companion had a wonderful pizza, I enjoyed the lamb chops ... both wonderful.
For dessert, both Creme Brulee and Profiteroles were superb.
Great little restaurant ... worth a visit!! read more

My pizza was OK but not really something I'd expect from an Italian restaurant, my companion had the lasagne and also was a bit underwhelmed, they do have an OK selection of wines, I was quite unimpressed with the recommended starters, it was a bit just too generic, not bad but not really restaurant quality.
For the atmosphere, it was just far too loud, bit difficult to have a conversation if you have to almost yell at each other, and I don't know if we stumbled into something like a mad hen night or if that's the regular audience.
It wasn't terrible but I'm not in a hurry to go there again, seems to be more of a place for parties and boozed up people wanting something to soak up the drinks. A bit of a shame really as the building is quite lovely. read more
Never again, went there 2 or 3 years ago and ordered a seafood starter, traditional Italian, it was everything but Italian, the shrimps were off, distinctively, I tried them and immediately felt sick, they were doused in vinegar, possibly to mask the taste and smell.
I'm sorry, I'm half Italian and used to Italian food, what they offer there is what Engrish is to English. read more
