This Abrams is located in a horrible town, there isn't much around it. I don't even know if there are any other restaurants here. Which makes it all the more surprising to find a place serving up delicious food for a great price! I always get the "buffet" when I go to Abrams. You get 2 meats, 2 sides, and a drink for $9. But it gets better, you can go back up and get 2 more meats and 2 more sides included in that price! They have the best fried chicken, and the BBQ is pretty good too. I really like their cole slaw, it's sweet which some people don't like, but I feel like sweet cole slaw is a given being in the south. As a bonus the place is really clean! It's a must try if you are in the area!

As many time I came down this way to visit my folks. They decide to introduce me to this place. Everyone loves the homemade down south cooking. Because the food is made with love. This place by far is the place. Home of the original cheese biscuit. And they aren't lying. You have plenty of options on what you want in your cheese biscuit from eggs, chicken, pork tenderloin, country sausage, country has etc. For sides they have fried apples, fat back and favorite grits mmm and more. Exceptional beyond my expectations from the customer service and food. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to visit again when I come down. Highly recommended...

Good food, good people, good service! A gem tucked away in a tiny little town that you would not expect.

It was a Thursday and very busy but no so busy we had to wait very long. Just good to see all kind of people really for some BBQ. The food was fantastic and I loved the sides. I'm a big Cole slaw fan and this was very finely shopped up slaw with amazing flavor. They leave the crispy skin in the pork to give you these little yummy surprises as you eat. Plenty of room in the dinning area and a covered outdoor picnic table area.

I did like their sauce and this part of my meal. Coleslaw- too sweet for me. Nice texture. Potato salad- didn't care for it. Slightly to sweet. Corn cake- sorry but what is this burnt dense piece of square? I couldn't finish it. Banana pudding- had good flavor but I really struggled with the mushy texture and brown color here. Pork Bbq- hubby reported good taste and texture but was very room temp. Could have stood to be hotter. I guess sitting out on the wood block doesn't help. For me, not a great value. When you only enjoyed 1 of the 5 things you ate, that is a low rating automatically. Service- friendly and quick. As soon as we sat down, there was a homeless guy begging for food. This was upsetting because we don't know this individual or knew what intentions he had. Just came out of nowhere into the dining room. Not sure if the employees noticed while they were cleaning up the kitchen. Play back the camera feed. What if I was alone without my hubby. Very unsettling!!!!! We won't be back,

It's no secret that the food is good: at any given time that they 're open, you will see the cars coming to the drive through out in the street on both sides of the driveway. Not to worry though, because there's always someone out there taking the orders & the traffic really moves through there fast. The good news ... from what they had to offer, the food was quite tasty. The bad news ... the offerings were limited. From what we saw on the menu, it seemed to be mostly chicken (with a lot of it fried) and some chopped pork. Now I know this is the Carolinas so brisket may not be an option. But the pig is so revered I thought we would see that offered a number of ways, and at least see some baby back ribs on the menu. Not sure this place is named properly as I expected to see more BBQ than anything else on the menu, and that is simply not the case.

I was impressed with their meal offering, selection and quality throughout - Skyline's service was attentive and warm - despite my wife bringing an issue to her that lacked clear communication. Kings is a very comfortable establishment. Everyone seemed like they had been doing the same things…read morethe same ways for a long time. The restaurant itself felt comfortable as well: the table tops were worn, the small booths felt worn, the decorative metal siding was oxidized, and even the plates and silverware seemed worn. This comfortable atmosphere also persisted with our meals. I tried the beef tips and they were OK after I added a pinch of salt. The portion was adequate but not especially generous. Likewise, my yams were not very sweet and served in an unusually dark sauce. The brunswick stew, which I paid an extra $1 for, had a strong smoky BBQ flavor but oddly had peas in it. While my sides were not very good, it just felt like they were the prepared the same way they had been prepared for many years. My dining companion enjoyed her grilled pork chop, noting that it was clearly cooked to order, but thought her string bean side was really mushy, seasoned poorly, and just not good. The basket of hush puppies was a complete and utter failure: cold, undercooked, greasy and flavorless. blah. Our server clearly enjoyed being comfortable too. Unfortunately, we needed refills on our beverages and the extra effort impacted her comfortableness. So sorry, not sorry. Kings seems like the sort of restaurant that meanders along until one day they realize they lost the qualities that made them successful in the first place years ago and they drift away into oblivion. There's a cost to being comfortable. Not recommended.
