He is grandiose in his beliefs about himself with a ridiculously inflated ego which has no basis in reality. He is not grounded and has no sense of his own profound limitations. He will tell you he can accomplish things and win for you when he has absolutely no knowledge of what he is doing. Another lawyer who knew him well said of John "He turns on dime". unstable to say the least as well as unpredictable. He used my case to network with other lawyers and make contact that would help his business while doing little to help me. When there was a downward turn or an unfavorable ruling, he would blame me. He poked me in court when a perceived unsympathetic juror was chosen and said, " see what you've done now".The case was lost and although I was disabled, sick and subsisting on a small disability annuity, he wasted no time in a ruthless bid to collect the small amount of money I was subsisting on. He can get very nasty with his clients when things don't go well. I don't think he has much of a conscience either. John DeCicco was like a psychopathic Gilligan. An absolute nightmare.
