Celes seemed annoyed that I needed to try on varying sizes and brands, as if she didn't know what being fitted entails. She gave limited information and contradicted herself multiple times regarding sister sizes. If they didn't have the size I needed, I would have rather her say that instead of being rude to me because I wanted a close fit. She seemed she would have rather I left with something ill fitting than have to help me further. Her words and negative attitude made it clear she did not want to assist me. She outright stopped helping with trying on bras at one point and even tossed the final options down on the bench before walking out the room. Celes made me feel unwelcome. If I hadn't needed to make my purchase in a timely manner, I would not have spent my money in this establishment. Two stars because I was able to find a bra. Minus 3 because Celes made it a more unpleasant experience than it needed to be.

A quick Google…read moresearch led me to Harp's Lingerie, so I plotted my Saturday morning visit and am thrilled with the outcome! Let's be honest: A shopping trip to Birmingham can be daunting with the paid parking and general busy-ness of the town. Arriving at 10:00 AM (when they open) turned out to be wise. I was able to secure a nearby parking spot and was warmly welcomed into the store. Jan "Wright" took wonderful care of me- starting with an accurate measurement, listening to what I wanted, and helping me to feel comfortable with the process. I left with several items that are not only physically comfy, they look terrific! Harp's has managed to retain quality service while offering gorgeous items. I'll be back

I'd kill for a few of those shots in my house, but they are hard to come by. Anyhow, back to the goods. Yes, the pantyhose are $50.00 to start, but they are ironclad and so soft, worth every last cent. Wolford carries a ready-to-wear line that is insanely sexy. The Fatal dress is my favorite thing right now, it can be folded to different lengths and such, making it an invaluable piece to have. The leggings are stellar, but be prepared to pay up to $700.00 for the extra fancy ones, like the studded beauties they had this season. All in all, Wolford is my go-to for lingerie, pantyhose and layering pieces. I think every woman should own at least one pair of Wolford tights, it's worth the splurge!

She said "no the company could not do anything about." So, if you want to waste your time, money, and treated rudely please go into this store. And see the female from the Middle East. First off, I pretty much (except on a rare occasion of if I am gifted one by someone who doesn't…read moreknow better) ONLY buy Fredrick's bras. Vicky Secrets seems to be the "well-known" bra shop amongst my girlfriends but I discovered the Liquid Dream and Extreme Cleavage bras back when I needed cleavage (okay, I don't care how big my cups get I want more cleavage... but back then I NEEDED it) and never looked back. So for more than 10 years I've been wearing he same style of bra. The size may change, but the brand remains. This brings me to this store. Now, Fredrick's bras are not necessarily cheap by themselves. But if you buy 2 or more, they are reasonable prices. EVEN better is if you are like myself and do not care that you are buying "last seasons colors" and you get the bra for about half price or less. The last time I visited the GLC location, however, I hit the jackpot. The (always) helpful workers let me know that most of what I'd be looking for would be in the "damaged" rack. Well, by damaged, that means "has a pen mark on it". (I have a three year old... what in my house DOESN'T have a pen mark on it). I found one bra for $4 because it had 2 ink marks and another for $3 because it did not have the push up pads (HELLO, I have been wearing the same bra for 10 years... those things roll around my house like tumbleweeds embarrassing teenage children at every turn... that was NOT a problem). You can't beat it. So if you are like me and want a damn good bra and don't care about a little imperfections at a dirt cheap price... you will love this location too. But if you are a 34C, I may have to fight you. lol

Due to our wedding being top secret and my mother passing away, I flew solo to this appointment. I didn't think I'd get the full bride experience or have any connection to a gown. Boy oh boy was I wrong. Cheryl made me feel extremely welcome and got right down to business. I started by telling her my preferences, what size I have been in bridesmaids dresses & my normal pant size, and my price point. As soon as I told her I was a size 14-16 in dresses, she flat out told me I wasn't. I didn't believe her until she PROVED IT! I also told her I wasn't into form-fitting dresses and loved an open back. She put me in the styles I preferred and I thought I found 'it.' But then...Cheryl threw in a little twist. I said YES to a dress I would have NEVER picked for myself or envisioned myself in. I even shed a tear. This woman has a GIFT. Also, back to the price point. I am a frugal shopper and pride myself on being a coupon queen. I refuse to pay full price for anything. Not that I'm a haggler; but I prefer to put cash towards other things life has to offer and discounts allow that to happen. Sure enough, Cheryl did it again! This gown was originally priced at (I think) $1699 but marked down to $999!!!! This place has the most amazing gowns, tremendous and accommodating staff; and won't break the bank. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Oh! And one more thing. If I didn't live an hour away or work in a completely different career field, this would be where I'd apply for a job. The ambiance is whimsical and what's better than helping a bride find THE dress?
