ROCKED IT!!! I rate them above 5 stars! With my experience, their customer service was impeccable, I spoke to Cecilia. I am from WA State, I desperately wanted to send Birthday flowers to a wonderful friend.. and had no inclination which florist to call, let alone who would be open on a Sunday!? ..I found their business on the Internet.. It happened to be Superbowl Sunday, let alone LATE in the day .. At first she hesitated, as they didn't think they could fulfill my order on such short notice-- I know they had to of been busy, I feel Cecelia could sense my desperation and kindly said, "Yes, and if needed, she herself would deliver the flowers on her way home!! I was elated! I gave her a description of what type of arrangement I wanted.... After I hung up, I wasn't sure she could truly get my order done in time ..(only to the fault of my own for calling so late) To my delight! SHE NOT ONLY FOLLOWED THRU WITH HER COMMITMENT, THEY KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK WITH THE UTMOST BEAUTIFUL ARRANGEMENT!! They were gorgeous!! .. Exactly what I was looking for! .. Thank you Cecilia! And to "Above The Stem" for making my friend's day sO wonderful .. And on a moments notice! .. I would like to encourage anyone to call them and feel assured, you'll get wonderful customer service as delightful flowers!!! Thank you again Carla read more

This review is based solely on the service I have recently received from Above The Stem, as I have yet to hear about the bouquet ordered (though I expect that it, like the service, will be wonderful). Earlier today I placed an order for a bouquet to be delivered tomorrow to a good friend after the birth of her son. I am out in Baltimore so everything had to be done over the phone and the service I received was polite and efficient. What really blew me out of the water, however, was when I called to change the delivery after finding out my friend would be leaving the hospital this evening. Rather than having to worry about arranging a delivery to my friend's home, the shop employee checked to make sure the bouquet was ready then volunteered to run it over to the hospital straight away. I am thrilled with how accommodating the employees have been and could not be happier with their customer service. read more

I thought I'd find an online service that delivers flowers on the same day. However, after trying several services, big name ones and small names as well, I realized that I could not place a same day delivery order for flowers. So I went onto Yelp to find local flower shops, and called Above The Stem. The woman who answered was very friendly, listened to what I needed and immediately gave me several options to choose from for same day delivery. I was able to quickly place the order over the phone, and she even sent me a picture of the beautiful arrangement. Within an hour, my friend, wo was in an accident, receive the arrangement at her house. It's great to know that you can still receive superior service without all the techno bells and whistles. Thanks to everyone at Above The Stem. read more

Above The Stem was AMAZING. Prerna sat down with me and my mom and took the time to really understand my vision for my wedding day. She was helpful, answered so many questions for me. She was incredibly confident which brought me so much peace! I trusted her to execute the flowers for my wedding, and needless to say she and her team exceeded my wildest dreams! My flowers were fresh and beautiful. They were perfectly arranged, and more gorgeous than I could have ever imagined. She added so many personal details to the floral arrangements! I loved it so much, I actually dried by bouquet to put in a shadow box in my new home! I cannot recommend Prerna and her team highly enough! I usually go to Conroy's flowers and stumbled upon this place because I thought it was also a Conroy's. Every time I go in the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Their flowers are amazing, always fresh, the colors blow you away. If you let the staff help you, they work wonders, pulling out flowers that you've never seen before. One favorite is a red tinted sun flower that looks like it is on fire. I definitely recommend giving this place a chance. Take the time to go into the shop, as there is many neat decor items, in addition to the wide array of different flowers. The shop has all the flowers and more that Conroy's has but adds to it with a classy Mom and Pop shop feel. read more

Called this place based on reviews. Ordered $60 worth of "flowers" for my mother for her birthday... received a picture of them and they are nothing more than a 12.99 arrangement with ONE rose that could be bought at stater brothers. Called back and explained I was not happy. I asked how much a dozen roses were and they said $60.00 and all I got was one rose and a cheap bouquet I could have bought myself. Further, I called and the "designer" felt SHE did a good job and they were not going to do anything about it. Ok, well I'm glad SHE was happy with it and not me, the customer..thanks a lot read more
