They are both very detail oriented. He went out of his way to make sure that I had a working refrigerator and sink throughout the renovation. His help with the counter top gentleman (who spoke very broken English) was invaluable and his suggestions for the counter top worked really well in my apartment with its' crazy walls. In fact, when the kitchen was finished, you could hardly tell there was a problem with every wall (1920's building). His suggestions were right on target. While the kitchen took slightly longer than Dom figured, I was surprised, considering the problems we ran into, that he was able to finish as quickly as he did. My husband and I met with the owner (Jason) in March 2025 regarding a job that included a tub and…read moretile replacement (with an installation of a niche), installation of an exhaust fan, and removal of a towel rack and toilet tissue holder. We were responsible for the purchase of the tub, tiles, niche background, and shower fixture, and tub installation kit. The estimate noted that the job would be completed in 4-6 days. This 4-6 day job was not completed by the 9th day due to the staff working half days, not coming due to car issues and by the 9th day, the staff still had not properly replaced the shower handle they lost, they caused damage to our bathroom tile, and damaged the new water spout for the tub. Furthermore, the electrical work for the exhaust fan was not done. After discussion with my husband, we decided that we did not want Jason or his staff back in our home as we were not pleased with the quality of work done, the damage to bathroom floor tile, and for the poor solution to replacing the shower fixture that his employees lost(instead of replacing the shower handle with a handle to properly fit the shower, they used a standard handle and pried it open to fit the shower mount). In the end Jason, did deduct money from the final balance owed but that doesn't take away from the poor experience we had working with his company. While Jason was apologetic, we selected him because of the reviews online. I would hate to see someone else go through what we went through without being properly informed. I do not feel like this job was done properly, or managed properly. I would surely say that I will never hire another company based on online reviews. I just can't trust it. This experience really made me disinterested in hiring anyone that is not referred to us by words of mouth.
