My old water heater, which was installed by Area Plumbing, lasted for 20 years before it started leaking. My new water heater, installed by Above All Plumbing, lasted for 2 months. Then it started leaking from the access panels. The cavity of these panels contains foam insulation. The insulation pads were soaked, and began dripping through the panels. AAP sent out a technician who said it was residual water from filling the tank. He squeezed out the foam pads and put everything back together. Two weeks later, and it was leaking again. This time, AAP concluded the water heater was defective. They replaced it with another new one, and they did it with a good attitude. They also honored a very old $200 coupon which I happened to have. They did the right thing. The water heater is a Rheem Classic Series-Professional: guaranteed for 6 years by the manufacturer, and for 1 year by AAP. Rheem water heaters are made in Japan, and the American headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia. However, I have some complaints about AAP. The technician did not have a handtruck (which used to be called a dolly). He took the water heater out of the box at his van parked on the street. Then he rolled the heater on its bottom rim -- across the driveway and patio and to the heater closet which is in the side of the home. Also, I lent him my step-stool so he could reach up into the water heater closet and connect the tubes. After the new water heater was completely installed, I noticed some insulation foam sticking out from the lower access panel. The technician said it came that way, and he ripped off the protruding foam. I later opened the panel, and indeed the foam pad had an excess strip attached at its edge -- as though the pad had not been cut properly. I trimmed it and put it in place neatly, better than Rheem did. Furthermore, the lower panel did not align precisely over the interior compartment, and the srcews had been inserted at a slant. These are manufacturing problems. It would appear that Rheem is sloppy, or inconsistent. I can only hope the interior components of the heater fit adequately and will function for 6 years. Let me mention that when the old water heater was drained, the water came out clear. There was no rust or any discoloration. But I do not remember the brand of the old heater. I do not know if I will ever use AAP again. They did the right thing, but there were other issues which put doubt in my mind. read more

One think is for sure, this company will bend over backwards to live up to their name, ABOVE ALL PLUMBING. In the last 25 years, at this location in Yuma East, I have had to deal with several plumbing issues of drain blockage to the septic tank. The bandage repairs applied by companies I dealt with would last about a year. I contacted ALP and they sent out Less to look at my problem. He was a god sent. Les is the most contentious, hard working, likable plumber, person, you could ever meet. Opening my drain was only a small part of what he did. He uncovered the tank, exposed a problem with the drain connection to the tank, recommended a pump out, opened the D box and cleaned the leach lines, made a much needed detailed drawing with dimensions of the complete system. I contacted Above All Plumbing after attempting multiple times to reach several other local companies who either never answered and/or never called me back. I was able to get same day service for a gas dryer install where a pipe had to be changed out. The plumber was courteous, and got the work done quickly and the rate was very reasonable. My only suggestion is to ask for a quote ahead of time as no prices were given or discussed ahead of time. I have have family out of state in the plumbing trade so I knew about what to expect, but it's always best to have a clear picture up front. All in all I would highly recommend this company as they did a great job. I will definitely call on them for any other plumbing work needed in the future. read more

Context Above All Plumbing to trouble shot a hot water heater that would not light. Came out that day got it started only for it to go out again. They came back out fixed it for now extra charge. Eventually had to replace it and install an enclosure as it was outside. AAP did a great job for a good price thanks for being prompt and responsive. read more

Well today was not a good customer service day for Above All Plumbing. We had a technician named Ed come and discuss our low water pressure problem on October 15. He was professional and wrote a quote. He said the office would schedule an appointment the next Monday. Monday came and went so we called Thursday the 22nd. They said 'sorry we didn't do that but we will schedule you for 8:00 am on Thursday the 29th. Today the 29th we were up and ready for our appointment. 8:00 came and went. At 8:15 my husband called them and spoke to a guy who answered the phone. He was told they would call so we knew what was up. At 8;45 the plumber shows and was rude and said we had no right to expect him the plumber to be on time. Plumbers don't have to be on time and they don't have to call anybody. My husband told him if you schedule an appointment be there or notify the customer why not. Anyway because of his poor attitude he is not doing our job and the company has lost us as a customer. We have a message in to talk to the owner we will see how that goes. Unless things change dramatically I do not recommend this company. read more
