I bought a Groupon for a facial with Ariel, and while she was very skilled, thorough, and professional (and her new studio is in a beautiful, old home!), I did not love the scents of her products or the constant steamer :/. The only other facial I've had was two years ago at an Aveda Institute in Wisconsin, and although the atmosphere was not nearly as nice as Ariel's studio, I recall enjoying that facial more. At Aveda, the staff member gave me three sample scents to choose from, which helped me enjoy the overall experience more. I was with Ariel for over an hour, which shocked me! I might have fallen asleep for a few minutes during the facial...that's how relaxed I was. Ariel even used a zit "zapper" that completely cleared up/healed a zit that appeared that morning. Ariel was not pushy at all when recommending products after the facial ended, and I appreciated her suggestions - I used her input to purchase a face wash at Target that closely aligned to the description she recommended for my dry skin. If you have never had a facial, I would definitely recommend starting by purchasing the Groupon and trying it with Ariel (be sure to tip WELL - these are great deals and the companies participating don't want you to skimp on the tip)!

Always very quick to push medication without thorough diagnosis and moving on to the next patient. Over the years, the lobby and waiting rooms have become more plastered with posters for Botox and new cosmetic procedures, which I am sure is where the bulk of their dollars come from. While I see that as a valuable service to provide, save yourself the time and find a practice that is more professional in their approach and that shows more holistic care and investment in their time with their patients. My actual doctor may have been nice and treated my acne effectively, but it is not worth dealing with the rest of the office staff.
