The tattoo healed horribly, the lines were clean when I left and within a couple of weeks the ink started bleeding out leaving hardly any gaps on the a and now it looks like a blob of black ink. I have had several tattoos since and every artist has told me that they went way too deep and looked like they were trying to cover up a mistake. Funny enough I asked for something a lot thinner than I got and will definitely be covering this up.

But the wait times were very inaccurate. Said it would be 35-45 minutes to look at my piercing, not even getting a new one just a checkup. I waited over an hour and a half before I had to leave because I had an appointment to get to, which I had told them about upon my arrival. They only do walk-in's, which I understand, but that is the kind of wait I could expect anytime after 5pm, I was told. Additionally, two folks who came in after me were taken back before I was without explanation. The folks who came out while I was there looked to be pleased with their piercings. I didn't get to experience the service so I can't leave a review of what it would be like. The prices were great so I assume you pay in waiting time. If you can't handle strong smells, don't go. They have a whole section of incense right next to the waiting room and if you wait as long as I did, you will walk out smelling like it. I recently had my conch pierced. I noticed after about two weeks, that the back of the earring was almost being pushed into my ear which is also extremely painful. Make NO MISTAKE, this was not my fault. this is due to not having the proper piece of jewelry put in my ear to avoid this type of situation from happening. So, when I came in to let S&S know about my ear, (I also was not greeted when coming in, per the norm) Alex immediately proceeded to blame me and asked me if I have been properly cleaning it. No apology, nothing but crudeness and rudeness And not taking responsibility for their mess up!! Regardless, if I had been cleaning the ear properly or not, it does not negate from the fact that the wrong type of jewelry back was put into my ear, which led to this inflammation and also led to them having to replace the back of my earring. Alex made it out to be like this was my fault and my doing instead of taking responsibility and apologizing to me like she should've done. Honestly, though, I should've expected that type of behavior from her, given her past behavior towards me. And when I saw another review on Google that someone left that had their conch pierced, and went through the same exact thing that I went through, is a big to me that this happens often with this business. All of the staff here have been super kind aside from Alex. From day one, which was over two years ago when I started coming to S&S, I've always thought she's had an attitude; immediately judging you as soon as you walk in the doors.....that's the type of "welcome wagon" she greets you with. I Have never, not once, heard her ask me when I come in "how are you today?" Or "hey, what would you like to get done today?" Regardless of how busy they have been or not, there's a thing called courtesy and respect. Something she clearly doesn't want to give anyone but herself. I just cannot get over how much she treated that entire situation like it was my Fault that my earring was being pushed into the back of my skin the way it was.
