Erin is absolutely wonderful!…read more I'm a regular at my Chicago esthetician and I'm currently visiting family in Anderson. Compared to my prior facials, Erin is without a doubt one of the best! She works out of an adorable treatment room and creates a welcoming, relaxing environment. She takes the time to understand her clients needs and delivers a superior, customized experience. My skin felt lousy with the Chicago winter and I came out feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated. It's been 2 days since my facial and my skin feels (and looks) 100% better. I highly recommend.

I'm now a regular customer and I'm excited to follow her on the path to great skin! I'd highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for organic products, a friendly atmosphere, and a chance to be more informed about your skin! (Also, her prices are extremely reasonable.) Thanks Erin!

From the moment I walked in, Paige made me feel so welcomed and right at home. I started with a facial by MacKenzie, and it was absolutely incredible. She was so knowledgeable, thorough, personable, and professional. You can tell she truly loves what she does, and my skin is still glowing! Then came my 50-minute massage with a foot scrub by Brooke...and let's just say I could've happily stayed on that table all day. She listened to exactly what I needed, focused on all my problem areas, never rushed, and made the whole experience feel so personal. Then I spent about 40 minutes in the sauna, sweating it all out, and walked out feeling refreshed, relaxed, and completely recharged. Highly recommend.

Whether you're thinking about waxing for the first time, just looking for an occasional service, or trying to find somewhere fresh to return to your routine, this is the place to go! Located within the My Salon Suites building (within walking distance of Trader Joe's and next to Starbucks), the Prickly Pear suite is cozy, relaxing, and incredibly clean, with warm lighting and great style - totally the opposite of the clinical feel you get from the bigger chain wax centers. I never feel embarrassed or judged during my appointments, and Colleen is incredibly considerate and easy to talk to - but she even offers a Silent Service booking option, in case chatting just isn't your thing. The prices are great and incredibly competitive, especially considering that Prickly Pear is a one-woman operation. Colleen is a pro - she has a great attention to detail, and still manages to work fast without making the appointment feel rushed. My only regret is not starting sooner, so I highly recommend supporting a small local business and booking at Prickly Pear!

I've never been in an eyebrow shop. That is until last Friday. Brows were getting a bit unruly and…read moreI was fed up with doing the "scissors in the mirror" cut every three days, hoping not to puncture my eye out! Drove into the parking area. Only a couple cars were in sight. This was important. I had no plan to walk into an eyebrow shop facing stares by waiting ladies. I walked in and no one was there but the owner. I asked if she could thin my brow a bit. She said "I do mens brows all the time". True or false, I felt more comfy. I told her "I don't want lady brows"! She chuckled and said "No problem". She locked the front door and escorted me back to an adjoining room with a long face up lounger. I laid on the lounger and she commenced her craft, taking thread and weaving it around and within my brows. Pluck, pluck, pluck! It's not like a facial or massage. Every pluck is like a bee sting! On the positive side it only took about 4-5 minutes. She finished and passed me a mirror for self inspection of the work. Much better, but I asked her to revisit a few graying hairs. She kindly complied. She followed up with a quick solution for the subtle stinging sensation and sent me on my way. That's about the least expensive service a guy will find these days. $12 plus gratuity was the toll. This was a 5 star visit. Don't tell my golf buddies!

There was only one lady working--I'm not sure if she's usually the only one. I walked in at the perfect time because there were only 2 people waiting. About 4 more people came in after me. There's no sign in sheet--she just remembers the order of everyone waiting. The waiting area consists of a mixture of chairs and couches. There are also racks of clothing and handbags. When it was my turn, I explained what I wanted and she quickly shaped them up. The result....perfect eyebrows--ahhhhh!!! I was relieved and elated! The price isn't bad either--$12. One complaint--I wish she would wipe off the chair--at least the head rest between clients.
