The cab took longer than expected. We called to figure out what time and the dispatch was very rude to us. The cab came 25 mins longer than expected and were extremely vulgar when I called to ask about the situation. I would advise other customers to looks elsewhere read more

Just want to say the dispatch was amazing (wish I knew his name) and the driver he ordered. They helped me and my daughter out in a very hard scary situation without any hesitation! I (mom) called them at least 3 times very scared and upset about where my daughter was and they went back to get her to make sure she was safe and warm!! I called Able Taxi for a pick up from a wedding about 45 minutes outside of Orillia in Brechin Ontario. I was told by the dispatch that a driver with a GPS would be sent to pick us up, that the wait would be 45 minutes, and it would be a $50 flat fee - fair enough. After my group and I waited 50 minutes, I called Able back to see if I could get an estimate of when the driver would arrive. I was told by the same dispatch from earlier that the driver couldn't find the address and so returned back to Orillia unannounced to us. Surprised at the answer, I recounted for the dispatch that he informed me the driver would have a GPS and would be able to find us despite my not being familiar with the area. He reassured me that the driver in fact did not have a GPS, wouldn't be coming to pick us up, and then promptly hung up on me with a friendly "Thank you!" I called back to speak to a manager to discuss the fact that Able effectively left four people stranded at 1 am without any notice. The same dispatch greeted me on the phone and abruptly hung up on me again, but only after telling me to call back the company that had originally brought us there - Orillia taxi, which had a GPS and could find the wedding location just fine. Quite an interesting experience to have had with a company name "Able" taxi. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! My boyfriend, one month-old BABY and I were left standing in the cold for AN HOUR AND FOURTY-FIVE MINUTES!!! They said they would be FIFTEEN!!! We ended up walking in the cold!!! If you need a taxi in Orillia, call ACT, at leat they are honest about their wait times. read more
