Drivers are friendly and honest. The drivers also drive very well and never violate traffic laws. If you're in the Angus, Borden and Essa region I suggest going to these guys if you need a lift to Barrie as they offer a great deal for round trips!

My driver Peter was courteous and wonderful and treated my Mother to the royal treatment. The driver knew how to interact with persons with dementia and my Mom told me she felt like the queen. What more can you ask for from a wheel chair accessible taxi service? The driver was on time and super courteous and the pricing was fair and simliar to a regular taxi service. If you are thinking of utilizing alliance for a taxi service for a person with dementia in a wheelchair I would highly recommend this service. On time, zero music in vehicle to distract, courteous and know how to work with persons with dementia. Its rare that you get such excellent customer service. Just had a really sad interaction with a taxi driver with Alliance. I was letting my dad out at the…read morehospital and the second I stopped, the taxi driver laid on the horn. He honked for so long that a security guard came over. He assured me I am allowed to stop briefly to let people out. Let me be clear, I was stopped maybe 30 seconds at most. This driver could not wait 30 seconds for a man who just found out he has cancer to unbuckle his seatbelt and exit the car. If this is the way they treated us, how are they going to treat you, their customer? Just keep that in mind when booking a taxi company. After my dad left the car, I circled around to talk to the driver, letting him know that my dad is ill and he repeatedly stated "I don't care". Based on the reviews, I doubt there will be any repercussions so if you happen to get this driver, I am truly sorry. Maybe he was having a bad day and I should give him a break. Unfortunately I'm having a bad day too and I really needed some compassion today.

Clients are all Boomers and OW recipients, who notoriously have NO MONEY. You'll be lucky to make $50 in 12 hours. That's why they can't keep people. It's literally the same 5 customers, heading to the same plazas to buy drugs, groceries, and cigarettes. Deluxe is curry trying to round up Pennie's, by scamming the new drivers into paying DOUBLE to renew their licenses. They will charge you $150 right away, and then 2/3 months later they will surprise you with another $150 charge That they initially told you that they would cover when you paid the first time. They also claim that payments to operators will be paid in cash the following week, with zero follow through. They will make up excuses as to why you wont receive it. I am owed money that I know I won't get. But as long as this deters even one person from using or becoming a driver for this company, then I'm already repaid in dividends. Just call an Uber or Lyft. They are less expensive. Cleaner cars too. Even as a driver for this company, and knowing all of the rate details, I STILL used Uber.

Call back in 10 minutes and they said he left cause no one was outside. When did cab services not knock on your door. It's call SERVICE!!! All he kept telling me that govt cheques are out and they can't help me. I missed my appointment by and hour and a half and had to wait 2 hours for them to fit me in for my IV treatment. Had 2 rides yesterday, one to destination, second return home…read more 1st driver was excellent, very safe ride, driver was very courteous. 2nd ride not the same, the ride was much quicker but the driver blew through 2 amber lights the first was acceptable as it just changed as he approached, but the second he could have stopped,started to brake, but then accelerated and blew through. The cab had strong cigarette smell. I deleted Barrie Taxi from my contact list, will give one of the other cab companies a try in the future.

The third guy didn't tell me there was no debit when I got into the car so when we arrived at my place he tried to get me to put my credit card info onto his iPhone. When that didn't work\ no way I was going to do that, he drove me across the street to the gas station so I could take out cash and spend an extra $3 in ATM fees ; then he tried to charge me for driving me over to get the cash. Never again will I call these guys , I'd rather walk until my feet bleed.

Shame on Central Taxi of Midland Ontario and the driver of car 91 tonight…read more I have never been so angry and disgusted in my entire life. My daughter went out with friends this evening to a Halloween party and assumed if she drank too much she would be able to get a taxi to get home safely. Thankfully she had a friend with her or this could have turned out much differently. They called Central Taxi in midland. The driver of car 91 this evening showed up to get them and immediately started berating my daughter and went on and on about if she throws up in his car there would be an $80 charge to clean it. At this point no one cares about the extra fees the important thing was to get her home safe. (They were doing the responsible thing and not drinking and driving) She had said she felt sick she DID NOT get sick and told him multiple times if she needed to get sick she would tell him so he could pull over. Instead of bringing her and her friend home he kicked them out of his car and left them at a closed dark laundromat on young street in Midland. Now it has always been my understanding that if you have had to much to drink and need to get home safely you should call a taxi. Well my friends not when it comes to Central Taxi. At Central Taxi you can be assured that you are not safe and neither are your children. What kind of disgusting human being leaves two young women on the side of the road? What if she had of been alone? I am not condoning getting that drunk but it does happen and people drink to much...my daughter rarely drinks to intoxication and the one time she needs a cab this is how she is treated. There are tons of ads on the radio not to drink and drive and if you have been drinking to call a cab. Definitely don't call Central Taxi in Midland if you do. It's 3:20 am and my daughter and her friend are home safe because they were able to reach me to go get them and thank god for that because you certainly can't count on Central Taxi of Midland Ontario. They will leave you drunk and alone on the side of the road in the dark at 2:30 am because they don't want to have you feeling sick in their car.
