My wife's dress needed to be re-bustled a few weeks before and she did it perfectly (whereas the previous seamstress did a poor job and charged too much). We had taken in my vest (which arrived as a "Chinese Large" and was impossibly small) to see if we could fix the sizing to this very special garment, and Kim came through in an amazing way, the vest looked better after the work was done. ALL of the slacks STILL had store tags on them! One pair of white jeans were SHORTENED to 21 in.! Another was NOT altered since it was STILL the original 29 in., another was 28.5 in. & was a fabric that ONLY needed cutting & the 4th pair looked as if it had been done by a child BUT it was the correct length!!! Needless to say, I will never return & I urge you to think twice for any Alterations by Carla! Additionally, Carla could have offered to pay for the damage incurred to the 24 in. pair of slacks from Chico's but she said there was nothing that she could do about it! Unconscionable for a business owner! Think twice & go somewhere else!!! Very incompetent

I was told by the owner (Carla) that they would be complete in 2 weeks and that she would call me when they were ready to pick up. After 3 weeks passed with no word, I called. I texted. No response. Finally I went to her shop to see what was happening. A month had gone by and my items hadn't even been touched. Unacceptable. Carla was not there but her daughter was. I asked for some kind of explanation and was handed my things and told to get out. [People get defensive when they're asked to be accountable] Completely unprofessional. I'm a small business owner and if any employee of mine, family or not, had been dressed the way she was [unshowered, no bra, no shoes, dirty socks] and had spoken to a client the way she spoke to me, they would have been dismissed on the spot. I would have been embarrassed to have this young woman representing my company. I gave the owner an opportunity to make things right, I would have given her more time or worked something else out. But Carla chose to lose my business and her reputation instead, over something which could have been easily fixed. ETA the owner informed me that she has blocked my phone number and that I "have a bad attitude" for calling her on her lack of professionalism The customer service here is below the basement.
