But they have been serviceable and courteous in my occasional dealings with them. When I had to downsize from a large house, w basement to an appt, I researched storage quite a bit. Criteria were basically, cost & ease of access. I found another storage on SW Marine (Vancouver) that was competitive, but chose Econo because it was close to a gym I had a membership with at the time. The other providers were, at the time, not really competitive for small-ish storage. Their rates have not hugely moved up since. Since I have been there, I have no issues with them whatsoever, including forgetting to notify them of a lost Visa card I had cancelled. They eventually called me and I updated the CC #, no fuss. I'd give them 5 stars if I had really pushed their services, but I haven't so 4 seems fair for a no hassle, cost-effective solution to my storage needs.

These guys showed up with minimal supplies, parked their red Tesla, in my driveway, blocking in both me and my neighbor, despite there being ample parking directly in front of our house. It never crossed their minds, that blocking this communal driveway might be an inconvenience to the people who use it. How can a moving company arrive at a job underprepared, then bill the customer for procuring the very supplies they should have initially provided? Furthermore, we were charged by the hour for the two employees who went hunting for supplies. While two movers went supply hunting, and little to nothing was being done in our home, we were charged an hourly rate for 3 movers, because the moving company failed to bring necessary supplies, and by "supplies" I don't just mean boxes. I'm talking about the scissors, tape, tools, dolly, etc. We had been pleading with them for weeks to provide us with a detailed receipt because the charges for supplies were so inflated that we suspected an error. It required our assistant doggedly pursuing them day after day before they finally furnished us with an itemized receipt. This is not an honest company. It is poorly run, with poor leadership. If Yelp allows it, I am going to attach a copy of the invoice so everyone is able to take a look at exactly what this moving company sent us, the inaccuracies and inflated charges. Please keep in mind these charges are in CAD not USD.
