We were quickly arranged an appointment after the intake process. Jennifer pinpointed the issue on our first visit and gave practical suggestions, showing a lot of sympathy and professionalism. She listened to our questions and concerns patiently and responded thoroughly, so we learned a lot from her. We cannot thank her enough for her help. Tip: A video visit is possible if the baby's schedule doesn't work out; we used this option for one of our follow-up appointments! As for the clinic, the intake process is well-organized. With my family, this was problematic, as I have a younger son too and work with children in my own work, so we ended up missing quite a few sessions even in the first month -communication about scheduling, superbills, etc can be challenging. She also explained us how some of these sounds would cause pain in the child's ears and affect them emotionally to develop into a fear of sound. During the entire two week period, Mary was very caring and courteous to our daughter. Apart from the training, helped my daughter get over the fears with a very practical approach making her clean using a silent vacuum cleaner etc. She has given us practical tips of how to eliminate the fear by gradually exposing to attenuated sounds and increasing the intensity etc. the highlight of the entire Training process was the care with which Ms Mary approached and made my child feel comfortable

In-Network Status Not Honored / Intentional Overbilling I…read moream writing this to warn other parents--particularly those with HSA plans--about the billing practices at Hands On Care (Saba Kamal). Despite being listed as an in-network provider, this office overcharged my client by more than $600+ beyond the insurance-contracted rate. When the EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) confirmed the overpayment, the office refused to issue a refund. Most telling was the provider's own admission; when questioned about the overcharge, she stated: 'I cannot make money with the rates that Anthem allows me to charge. I would have to bill you for two visits.' This is a clear 'bait and switch' tactic. A provider cannot agree to in-network status to attract patients and then unilaterally decide to charge more than the contracted rate because they find it more profitable. We escalated this to the insurance carrier and filed a formal grievance. The insurance company ruled in our favor, yet Hands On Care still refuses to return the client's money. It is highly unethical to take advantage of parents trying to care for their children. Furthermore, the care plan was underwhelming, and my client eventually sought treatment elsewhere. Do not trust this office to honor their in-network obligations
