It can tell time, but the dates do not change from day-to-day, even though they claimed to have fixed that which was not even broken before I gave it to them. I just wanted a new battery and the gasket fixed, so that it wouldn't fog up from the humidity and stop working. This employee lied to my face about how it got broken and how he fixed it; and he used a second, outside source to fix it anyway. This one person in particular will lie to you straight to your face without a second thought. The only thing that gives him away, is the fact that he cannot look you in the eye for very long. I do not recommend the store for any kind of jewelry repair.

They have a great selection of beautiful, quality pieces and I've had to resist blowing my savings each time I am in there. In addition, if you're shopping for a custom piece or to have jewelry repaired, Bruce is your man. My aunt had her rosary repaired by him after parts of it were charred & destroyed in a fire. She was absolutely devastated, as this was given to her by her parents when she was a girl. It is her prized possession, so I trusted no one other than Bruce to repair it. His talent, attention to detail, and hard work were evident as my aunt cried when she saw how amazing her beloved rosary came out. It looks brand new despite the fire and being over 50 years old. He cared for this piece as if it was his very own and we cannot be more grateful.

They were gracious in working on a layaway contract with me, keeping in constant contact with me, even through the breakout of COVID-19 in their area. Once I had paid off my ring, they had informed me of their local quarantine lock down situation but I was happy to be patient for my ring. Even through all of that, their office manager still found a way to ship my ring out across the States to me. Their packaging, while me being eco-conscious did wince at the idea, ensured the protection of my ring as (they encased it in it's own jewelry box, then bubble wrap, then multiple cardboard boxes - they'll all be recycled!) it spent many miles flying over the Pacific Ocean. As I opened the ring box, the diamonds sparkled beautifully and the gold bands were so shiny. I'm very happy with my purchase, now I just need to remember to insure this baby! I called Reine Diamonds and got treated with true southern courtesy and told me their jeweler was in shop Wednesdays & Fridays. When another customer walked in, she was offered water after just a few minutes and I was not after having a much longer wait. They would not take a charge payment over the phone as my mother from MD wanted to puchase them for a gift to me. The manager acted like I was stupid for even suggesting that $100 be accepted over the phone by credit card. I told my mom on the phone that the experience was bad. The manager then said I shouldn't buy from them, and I was asked to leave for speaking badly in front of other customers. I was not loud or rude. I simply spoke the truth. It was a horrible experience, and I would not consider making a larger purchase from them because of the way I was treated.
