Although I got nothing out of our interaction, I did get a $4000ish bill. I did not pay it. I suggest you avoid this firm. I kind of agree with other reviews: They're overpriced for a small firm, and they're not particularly effective. I think they think that their mission is simply to bill and make money rather than helping folks resolve their problems.

They were incredibly expensive and were unable to get charges dismissed/dropped. Charges were able to be reduced from felony to misdemeanor with 18 months probation. They had a good response time, but Matt seemed bothered & annoyed by our questions. He was rude and condescending many times. Catlin was professional & nice to work with, yet neglected to notice on probation documents that the prosecutor listed a 2 year term when it was supposed to be 18 months. Had I not paid attention & noticed the discrepancy my family member would be doing an extra 6 months unnecessarily. Disappointing when you're paying top dollar & under so much stress that you can't trust them to get the paperwork correct. Overall, I didn't feel that Matt had our back & was not on our team. Didn't work out well for us

He allowed me to heal, and focus on my present while he handled the past that got me in this position. There were moments when he believed in my projected outcome as if the case was already done. Moments that I was supposed to hear it, exactly how it was said. The trajectory of my life was significantly altered in a way I never imagined. This is behind me now and ended a few hours ago with a major victory. What I do with it now is be the man Matt believed I was when he decided to stand by my side and give the other side all we got. I have a second chance! Hope, encouragement, and to have the outcome you need are what you hope you're getting from your legal counsel. But what the law firm doesn't advertise, is that you're getting a absolute savage in your corner that's looking dead in the eyes at the other side and will not be comprised for a "easy outcome" but will get you the outcome that doesn't tarnish your name permanently. The best outcome. Everyone makes mistakes. It happens. But you need to realize that you found this review for a reason. Just like I found the review that had me give him a call. I will be referring his services.

Their patience, intentionality, urgency, and genuine support have been extraordinary. They listen, respond with purpose, and make me feel that my concerns truly matter. Together, they have given me everything I needed in a legal team--clarity, compassion, strength, and action. What Dean and Liz may not even realize is that, through their guidance, they have also taught me to be more thoughtful and intentional in how I approach this process. As a mother trying to hold everything together while figuring it out one step at a time, that has meant more to me than I can fully express. They have made one of the most overwhelming chapters of my life feel far less lonely. Dean and Liz are absolute rock stars. I am incredibly grateful and feel so fortunate to have found them and Taradash Given, P.C. If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would. If you are researching family-law attorneys the way I did, please know that I researched extensively and even worked with a couple of attorneys before finding this team. Dean Taradash is the attorney you need--and his right hand, Liz Torres, is truly one of a kind. I absolutely love her! Thank you both for making me feel heard, supported, and protected. We essentially wanted someone to help us facilitate the proper filing of documents and to shepherd us through the court process. That is what we got, eventually, but it was a very no-frills experience. Gabrielle is a welcoming person, but she is disorganized and forgetful. She outright lost the first copy of our parenting agreement which we then had to furnish a second time. She reported that she hadn't received supportive documentation in email which she had in fact received. The night before our court date, she called me to say that she didn't have other necessary documents which it turned out she did have after all. This is the last call you want to get the night before your court date. When I arrived at court for the hearing, I found that our case wasn't on the docket. The judge, who apparently knows Gabrielle, heard the case anyway. It wasn't the most reassuring feeling, especially when it had been preceded by a handful of concerning incidents of absent mindedness on her part. If you have an extremely straightforward divorce case and no other real option, Gabrielle will get the job done. I would not recommend her for anything more nuanced or complicated. Keep good notes, and copies of all documentation.
