Erin was easy to work with and really helped when it came to choosing. John and Steve were right on time and did a wonderful job with our install. Thanks!

So.. We decided it was time to put new granite in our house. We've used Planet Granite in our…read moreprevious house and we're very satisfied. My wife an I went to the business and asked to see some granite options. We basically new the color and pattern we were looking for. They assigned us Shauna Sauer. She was pretty attentive to our needs, took notes and sent on our way with a couple of samples. We went back the following Saturday to look at the whole slabs again and maybe some other choices. We never seen Shauna again. This time they assigned us Reese Hunt. He was equally attentive and helpful that day. With both Shauna and Reese my wife and I repeated that we both wanted to be involved in picking out the slabs, so we could be comfortable with the colors and grains. So far so good. This is where things go south. I called Reese the following Monday to get things moving because we made our selection. He didn't call me back until Tuesday afternoon. I was out but called him as soon as seen the message. Once again crickets. Then on Wednesday afternoon I called and asked to speak to the manager, sales manager, someone... The receptionist said she gave a message to the sales manager. Bingo, within minutes Reese called me back. I told our selection and I'd like to get a template done, he said they would be in touch. Once again crickets. A few days later I get an appointed with the guy doing the template. Very professional, very courteous and completed the template quickly with was nice as I was having new flooring put in. He said they'd be in touch the schedule the install. A few days pass and I get a call that the Install can be don the following week and we could come in the store in 2 days to work on the template layout on the slabs. We come in on that Thursday, stand around for 20 minutes until the layout guy, I can't remember his name comes an gets us. We go to his computer and he starts lining up the virtual templates on 2 pictures of slabs loading in his software. We stopped him and said we're not to this point yet as we haven't even picked out the slabs yet. He said, sure you did and here's the pictures. We both said I don't who picked those but they were not us. He got a little irritated, and went to get Reece. Reece knew we were waiting at this guys desk, but proceeded to complete a 20-25 minute phone call. When he came over and we explained the issue, he go combative and insisted that all the slabs were the same. I said I didn't care because we repeatedly indicated WE wanted to pick the slabs not have them picked for us. He then calmed down and said he misunderstood us. Misunderstood this statement "My wife and I want to come in and pick the slabs ourself" It was spoken in English. Any we decided to see what the layout guy could do. He was prenominal. 5 Stars for him. The installers, Gabe and Keion did a fantastic job. great seam work. Great work mounting the sink. Awesome job with the demo, not damaging anything. 5 stars for them. Combine 3 stars for MIA Shauna, and 1 star(being generous) for Reece, its' a 3 star review. I think they are a little pricy, but most of there team is great and they have great products.

The owner Tim was quick to respond, and we spent some time with him at his business location. He is not a salesperson, and he admits that. Did everything go perfectly? No...fault occurred on both sides. Tim and I worked together to get everything straightened out. The slab we initially agreed on ended up not being big enough for our job. Thanksgiving interrupted the timing of getting the measurements done. He worried a bigger slab may not be big enough. His team was able to milk the new slab to get all the pieces needed. His office and business aren't set up like big businesses are. It's a small business trying to make ends meet. Did we get a professional invoice? No. Was I comfortable with everything? No. I went into the deal unsure, but we wanted to give Tim and his business a chance. Adrian and Roberto installed the counters today and we couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. Adrian said Tim would get back to us for payment due, which he did a couple hours later. We appreciated he wasn't pushy and be like a used car salesman. He didn't twist any arms to get the sale. No BS to deal with. Tim could be more business savvy, but the bottom line is that we are extremely satisfied with the job he and his team did. The results are great, and we would recommend Springs Granite to our family and friends.

His shop is a hole in the wall and has no modern machinery. Wife and I hired him as he was a bit cheaper than real stone shops. About 4 days before the install was to take place, we were told that if we wanted bullnose, we would have a two week delay for the material. At that point, we had no choice, so went with the squared edge. When they cut the hole for the sink using the template, it was cut so close to the front edge that they were into the 1.5 inch thick lip. Sink clips aren't long enough to catch. I had to modify the underside front edge of the counter to make it work. They were supposed to round the corners on the island countertop, which they did at the back. Not on the front. Every time I catch the corner with my hip, I send kind thoughts to DMS. I will probably rip this garbage out for our next tenant and have it replaced. It won't be DMS.

They TOTALLY got it wrong on the kitchen counter set up. Why couldn't they just follow the existing counters??? The 2nd time was our current spec house we're building. Two of the showers are oversized and tall. Unlike City Glass, who did the shower glass installs for the last house ;same model), they did not measure for the custom size. When the shower doors were delivered and installed, those two looked totally ridiculous. The glass should have been taller. AND, this was the only company to charge us a fee for an estimate ($50).
