They got me better furniture, and they treated me like I was family. Between Ashton and Alma, I couldn't recommend either of them any more than what I do right now. Do yourself a favor and go visit them. It is well worth your time. Buy the Five-Year warranty, it's between $200 and $250 for everything that you buy in total (for or a single transaction, i.e.. couches, loveseats, chairs, tables, everything, ALL FOR THE $200 - AND IT COVERS EVERYTHING -). That supposedly was corrected but still no response. I went there on the recommendation of two other people who since have said they will not return do to treatment. They do not treat customers like they did when the original owner was alive. He would walk you thru minor repairs etc. Now it's come in and buy new as it's not worth fixing. If they don't change their ways, they will soon be lost to the big box stores. I know I won't go back and one of the people who raved about them before just bought a whole kitchen else where. I have been a loyal Best Buy customer since I bought my first computer there in 1995. I have used…read morethe Geek Squad's expertise over the years, with trust and great success. That is no longer the case. I don't want to even go into the Best Buy store anymore, let alone use the technical services. I purchased a Dell Inspirin 16 from Best Buy in the summer of 2024. A couple of weeks ago the screen would lock and when I shut down, the keyboard wouldn't work until I had put in a 48 digit bitlock code. I made an appointment with the Geek Squad at the Saginaw Best Buy on November 20th and explained the problem I was having. Since I was going to be out of town, I stated I would pick up the computer on Monday, November 24th. When I picked up the computer, the lady explained what they had done to repair the problem and wished me good luck on my Zoom call on Tuesday morning. When I returned home and turned on the computer, I found that the keyboard was nonfunctioning. I called to let them know about the problem, and when I didn't receive a call back, I drove back to Saginaw with the computer. I explained that I had tried to call and the younger man at the counter said "And what did they say?" Since they didn't call back, I explained the problem. He said, "What do you want me to do about it?" This phrase was used repeatedly throughout our discussion and he said it couldn't be fixed until Microsoft fixed the problem. I asked why I hadn't been told that the keyboard wasn't working when I picked up the computer. When I asked for an apology, he laughed at me. I asked to speak to a manager, and he said he didn't know who was available. I again asked for a manager. He placed a call, and within a short time a manager came to the counter. He reviewed the work order that I had received, plugged in a keyboard, and attempted to download the keyboard drive. The keyboard still didn't work on the laptop. I asked if there was anything I could do to use the computer, and he suggested that I purchase a stand-alone keyboard, which I did.

There is no problem with the appliances themselves, but the service left A LOT to be desired. I was never notified that the products came in. Never was called to schedule delivery - I always had to call them. When it came time for the delivery and install, I didn't just call, I went into the store and arranged it - except that the salesperson I talked to, George, who assured me that this would all be stress free, did not put it on the delivery schedule. When I called to see where my delivery was, I was asked if I had actually scheduled it with Holly - and I told them that I had told George and George should have svheduled it. I asked him if it was MY job to go through the company phone tree to find out whose job it was to schedule the delivery. He admitted that it wasn't. Funny thing, when I looked at the quote written up for the costs for the install, Holly was the one who wrote it! She wrote the quote, but apparently didn't think to ask when to put it on the calendar! which she was in charge of! So apparently, even though I only live 3.6 miles away from the store, they would not/could not deliver the appliances till the next week. We didn't have a single appliance for a week! Couldn't keep anything cold, couldn't even heat up pizza. They don't MAKE any appliances at the Maytag Store. THey get a product in, they deliver and set it up. The only value they add is in the service they offer, getting the job done right and on time. We ordered two of them, we like to use them almost as a sectional, but the best is we can switch the couches, so one side doesn't get too worn. The couches are super comfortable looking for in our family room. We choose a special duty fabric which repels stains and liquids, it is very soft and nice. We are very happy with these American-made sofas.
