2022 update: They've moved to San Lorenzo! We got our pumpkins and Christmas tree here last year and I still think it's the friendliest and most reasonably priced local place. Was happy to drive a bit further this year (corner of Hesperian and Paseo Grande) to get pumpkins again this year. Got 4 large pumpkins and four small ones for forty five dollars. Lots of pumpkins and inflatables. They have some other games too but looks like the jumpy houses are the draw. Last year the space was smaller but they had more photos ops-that's the only downside of the new location. Still worth a visit for sure!

We were trying to head to the alameda fair, and it was so crowded, we had to head back home, it was insane... came across this pumpkin patch, and my toddler was mesmerized! So of course we brought her! $19 for an hour but it was worth it! She had a blast! It's on the parking lot at bay fair! It got pretty crowded, but so many jumpers. Pumpkins, snacks, paintball. If you're looking to burn your toddlers energy take them here ;)

It was our annual October weekend and we wanted to stay local and have a load of fun in a small amount of time. 30 minutes (maybe more ;)...for $15 wasn't bad for kids ages 2-12... they were very busy and weren't able to put the targets up for the paint gun tent but it was still fun to shoot the 1 or 2 that was up. Not very crowded and many choices for the little ones. And ofc I got a baby pumpkin for $5. Worth going again before Halloween and can get some shopping done across the parking lot.

We came on Sunday the 23rd, we were enjoying the patch. My kids were so excited. Then my daughter lost her new iPhone. I panicked looked everywhere!! Ran to the sign in both. The young man was asked if a phone was turned in. Yes then he asked if I could described it. I called it it was conformed it was THE Phone! What honest professional great staff and customers. Thank you!! This place ROCKS!!!

We've come here three years in a row to the pumpkin patch at Bayfair and we love it! Their prices are really reasonable and I love their little items for sale. It's a simple little place but my 9 year old still loves running around like a toddler! They have pumpkins for sale and other little Halloween and fall trinkets. You get what you pay for here and my expectations weren't too high but still, I found the staff members friendly, not overly chatty but nice. Overall I would recommend this place for a quick family fun thing to do during the Halloween season.

Good place not so crowded on a Thursday night. $16 for 60 min $12 for 30. There is 7 jumpers. Good price my 7 yr old had fun.

This pumpkin patch place is awesome. I loved it! ~ JM

How long will the pumpkin patch be open until? I'd like to purchase some pumpkins for Thanksgiving.

We are closed and sold out of pumpkins for the season.

Unfortunately, no we do not do pumpkin carving tutorials, but we do sell carving kits, stencils, etc. on site. We can also book pumpkin carving parties if that is of interest.

We are no longer at the Bayfield center. We moved to Hesperian Blvd at Paseo Grande, San Lorenzo, CA

Any fee for parking or entrance?

There is no parking fee or entrance fee. If you have children ages 2-12 that wish to play on the inflatable amusements the price is $15 for 30 minutes and $19 for 60 minutes. Pumpkins are priced by size.

Its located right off the freeway where Schaefer Ranch Road intersects with Dublin Canyon Road. They have a good-sized parking lot and admission is free! I would say its like 70% amusement park with rides and maybe 30% pumpkin patch. They are small compared to the farms on Livermore but you'll still have a good time here. Kids who are easily overwhelmed by crowds may enjoy it here. They have a store specializing in smaller, almost hand-held pumpkins and you'll still see a little haystack maze with pumpkins. They also have like three funhouses and a few carnival games. Extremely difficult to catapult a rubber frog into a lily pad - physics just aren't in your side! For food, they have full concession stands with various goodies on a stick plus ice cream. The pumpkin stores used to sell pumpkin pie but I think its just chips and popcorn now. Bathrooms are just porta-potties.

Once we got to the gates ( after parking in the back ) there was a small sign noting "NO DOGS". There is misleading information online showing dogs ARE allowed, And as someone who's come the last few years I knew personally they accepted dogs. Had there been something online stating the opposite I likely wouldn't have made the trip. I talked to Melissa who told me the company had no website and was unable to edit or update information on google and Yelp. Easy to see here on Yelp it says they updated information 2 weeks ago, that would've been the time to update this important information. I was told even if my dog was a service dog they'd call the cops anyways. They claimed there was an issue with a dog biting a child and the company forking out 9k. Unfortunately that story doesn't do much because the information online is still inaccurate and very misleading. They of course have lost my business and I won't be coming anymore. Not to mention the food isn't great and the rides are expensive but that's what you get with a free entry. I'm hoping they change the info online to match what we see in person because people driving with the knowledge of Yelp saying info was updated 2 weeks ago and having different signs at the door is completely misleading and should be addressed ASAP. Melissa gave me a phone number and email to contact but did not give the names of who I would be contacting and speaking with. 2026 San Francisco Bay Area Moms pumpkin patch guide, published October 7, 2026, explicitly lists Classic Pumpkin Patch as allowing leashed dogs. Public information was still presenting the patch as dog-friendly this season. I'm asking management to clarify when this policy changed, why the online information remains inconsistent with the rules at the entrance, and what steps will be taken to correct it ASAP. I would also appreciate consideration of a goodwill resolution for the unnecessary trip and inconvenience BUT all I was offered was a corn dog for my troubles and I hate corn dogs so I guess I'm not looking for anything since the entry is free but I will forever be extremely disappointed In them for this mistake.

It's basically a huge sandbox with corn kernels instead of sand. The kids love it, but I wish an employee was manning it. There's a sign that warns you not to throw kernels, but there were still kids throwing them. One of them hit my eye :) The little one was fine and had a blast, but it can get really crowded and no one's really paying attention to proximity/safety. I would come back on a weekday when it's a little less crowded and to try the corn maze! I bought cute little gourds for $2 each.

The pumpkin patch is a yearly tradition for our family and now I enjoy taking my own child here. There are so many things to love about Joan's: choosing a pumpkin from the patch, the cute photo props throughout for cute pics, it's a staple to take a family photo in front of the tree in the patch. There are wagons and wheelbarrows in the parking lot that are up for use if needed for pumpkins. The price of pumpkins is pricier than what you'll find at the grocery store, but you get the ambiance so we don't mind. Pumpkins are priced by size. We love visiting and feeding the animals with the little ones - sheep, goats, donkeys, chickens - expect to pay a nominal fee for livestock feed. There are picnic tables to have lunch, we picnic, but they also have a little store to purchase hot dogs, drinks, snow cones, etc. There is a snack shack that has corn nuts, candies, etc and we usually end up buying a few to take home. After the patch we let our child have fun with the other activities: gem mining, barrel train, inflatable slide/obstacle course/maze, and a small corn maze. All of these activities are included in a $25 per child wristband or tickets can be purchased individually. A few tips: expect weekends to be crowded and visit in the morning or on a weekday instead. The ground is uneven and has elevation changes, use caution with wagons, strollers, and especially wheelchairs. The farm is cash only (no mobile or tap to pay). Porta potties are available and there are hand wash stations but they are often out of soap/paper towels and so we always bring wet wipes and hand sanitizer with us. Now the reason for a one star deduction is that the last couple of years they have started charging $5 for parking, and to me this comes off as a money grab. First, the lot is dirt and there is not much maintenance involved aside from ensuring the creek doesn't wash out the access road in the winter. Secondly, everything inside is something that needs to be paid for (unless you are literally coming in to take a photo in the pumpkin patch and leaving) then you will be spending money here. If operating costs are rising then I'd rather have the price reflected in the goods and services I am paying for already, instead of an added $5 collected at the gate by two employees. Additionally, I'd advise parents to always watch your own children. While there are seasoned and courteous employees throughout the farm, there are also young people stationed at most of the activities to check for wristbands/tickets and monitor the kids on them. These mostly teenagers are seated and mostly just starting at their phones, so don't expect them to enforce any safety standards (like one at a time on the large inflatable slide). The exception to this was an able adult running the barrel train and tractor rides. Overall, we will be back, but please Joan's - stop charging us for parking

Luckily, on the day we went, the lines were not long (maybe the heat scared people away). The entrance fee was $35 per person and you have to sign an electronic waiver before entering. There were so many attractions at Dell'Osso Family Farm - pumpkin patch, corn maze, rides, slides, pig races, bakery, vendors, hay ride, train ride, games, vendors, and many more. They were all really fun, especially the tube slides at Thrill Hill, hay ride, train ride, and corn maze. There was no line for the slides when we went so I went 3 times in a row. The bakery had delicious apple products, candy apples, and fruit pies. I loved the apple donuts, pie, and apple cider. Everything tastes delicious. We wanted to get drinks at Cider Hill, but they closed 10 minutes before we arrived. Make sure to go early because they close a lot earlier than the closing time of the farm. The corn maze was fun and we made it (with the help of a map). This year, the maze was shaped into an American flag with the word "America 250" carved out for USA's 250th birthday. The pig races were cute and fun to watch. The animals at the farm were also very cute and you could buy food to feed them. There were also spinning pumpkins you can ride on, but it got pretty dizzy. We loved taking pumpkin photos as well. This was my first time visiting Dell'Osso and it was so much fun. I was purchasing donuts and snacks and watched multiple customers ahead of me, as well as customers at other registers, pay with their cards without being asked to show identification. When it was my turn, however, a younger, heavyset female employee singled me out and demanded to see my ID to verify that my name matched the card I was using. Why was I treated differently from everyone else? What made my transaction require additional scrutiny when other customers were making purchases the exact same way? I complied, showed my ID, and paid for my items, but that does not excuse the inconsistency or the way this situation made me feel. I cannot help but question whether racial profiling played a role in why I was singled out. If this is a standard policy, why was it seemingly not enforced on the other customers I personally watched pay? And if it is not a standard policy, management needs to explain why I was treated differently. This was not just an inconvenience. It was a disrespectful and deeply disappointing customer experience. No paying customer should have to wonder whether they are being subjected to different treatment while others are allowed to complete the same transaction without question. I expect management to take this complaint seriously and review how this situation was handled. If this concern is ignored or dismissed, I am prepared to escalate it by filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and pursuing other appropriate consumer complaint channels. I will also be sharing my experience with friends and family so they can make their own informed decisions about supporting this business. You have permanently lost my business unless this matter is taken seriously. Dell'Osso Family Farm should be a place where families feel welcome, not a place where customers leave questioning whether they were treated differently because of their race. Absolutely unacceptable.
