I contracted with this company due to an ant problem. They sprayed for the issue but insisted on a one year contract. Then they called me back to upsell me on additional treatment as they didn't schedule the right treatment for my ants. Now they want to come out and spray the snowbank around my house for ants. I ask them to delay for a month but they refused. This company is inflexible about moving treatment dates. They want to charge you regardless if you want or need the service. They really don't care about the customer. They never have followed-up to see if they have solved the original problem. It seems they are simply selling chemical. They want to put down as much chemical and as often as they can. I will not stay with this company. Very unsatisfied. read more

We have used ABC Pest Control for about 12 years, first in Omaha and the past 7 years here in Lincoln. We have been very impressed with the strictly exterior heavy application/treatment every other month. It keeps our home pest free. This means a lot since our home backs up to a wetland area with all kinds of creepy, crawly bugs. We appreciate that our technician, Ryan Behrends, has been the same person for years, someone we've gotten to know and trust to do a great job. He's always dependable to be there at the appointment time, always checks in to see if we have had any problems since the previous visit and has been super cooperative so that we're able to open up our garage so he can do an application in there while he's here. Ryan also monitors and baits (if needed) four exterior mouse stations. We feel like the service is very affordable (about $66 every other month including the mouse stations) especially since I don't ever have to worry about a spider in the house or garage!! read more

I don't enjoy writing bad reviews. My goal is to help this company reconsider their "system" and train their employees and managers to show consideration for their customers' needs. We signed on with ABC Termite & Pest and stayed with them for over a year, due to a minor *springtime* ant problem. Harmless ants that marched around our CLEAN kitchen counters and cared not for food or water... The toaster, where crumbs reside, was never explored. The sink, a regular source of water, was ignored. Not sure what they wanted every Spring but they came, they saw, they marched around for a month and disappeared. We had a couple of other minor issues that we hoped the treatments would eliminate. We signed on with ABC because they had stellar reviews elsewhere... Here's my conclusion after a 12-month contract (the minimum -- they will NOT consider a seasonal contract) and staying with them for over a year (their contracts automatically renew): - They are utterly inflexible. The manager I spoke with was unwilling to consider our needs or discuss options. - Hefty fees are imposed if you cancel before the end of 12 months. - Our favorite technician, Nicholas, no longer works there... - We terminated our contract. read more

We used ABC for the last two years at our property. Unfortunately, my husband cancelled the service without asking me. When I called to restate it (I noticed some ants outside now that it has gotten warmer), they told me it would be forty more dollars a month because of the square footage of our house (which hasn't changed since the last month they serviced.) I'm very disappointed because the service professionals who visited us were so helpful and kind. But unfortunately, I will be looking for a different company. read more

I have been an ABC Pest Control customer for about 6 years now. I use them for all my rental properties and have been happy for the most part until Today! I had an appointment at 12:00 to meet with a technician at my apartment buildings (to explain what needed spraying and what did not) and then have a lawn and yard ant spraying done. I arrived 10 minutes early (11:50) to find that the technician had been there and sprayed a small portion of what needed done and then the rest of the 25 gallons ($179.00) I paid for was sprayed on the sidewalks and driveway (sidewalks and drive were soaked lawn was bone dry even in the shade). When I called the office, Chris answered the phone and immediately lied to me. He claimed that the technician arrived at 11:30 and was there for a full 45 minutes (a LIE) and did not spray the sidewalks (another LIE) but did what he was supposed to do (yet another LIE). This was a LIE! I was there at 11:50, the technician was gone lawn was not spayed but the sidewalks and driveway were still dripping wet. The office staff (Chris) is incredible rude and will lie to you at the first chance he gets! I do not like, nor do I respect liars. A wise man once said, "Never let a liar or a thief into your home". ABC is both in this case. Had Chris handled the situation without telling lie after lie and had enough common sense to believe what I witnessed with my own two eyes, today would have been much different! From this point forward I would STRONGLE RECOMEND NOT USING ABC Pest in Lincoln, Ne. read more

I am now a property owner and I was really starting to like this company. I was doing one-time treatments with them. Because that's what I could afford and didn't need much, especially after the first spray, which was great as was the second spray, which I called for as I begin to see a few bugs. That worked fine. The bugs died out, and I didn't see anymore. I was happy with that, and then I started to see baby ones and called for another onetime treatment right before Thanksgiving. This is where I have the problem. I feel like they sprayed with water or something different that was ineffective, as the baby bugs didn't budge. It was as if they didn't even spray at all. I called the office to report such, and they called me back after the holiday, and I mentioned I hadn't seen any over the past three days, and maybe the spray was working after all. She let me know that if they came back, there would be a charge. So I came on here because I am seeing the bugs and don't really know what to do besides call out another company, I guess. Which I can't afford. I don't know why the spray didn't work as last times. But obviously, something is amiss since it didn't kill the bugs. It did not work. I guess they only guarantee their work if you do the contract for multiple sprays, not the one-time sprays. I don't mind paying for the service that works, but I feel defeated when I don't get what I paid for. Oh, I asked the tech why I would see baby bugs after a month or so, and he told me they were eggs hatching. But with their spray, they won't reproduce. Which made sense to me. All I want is what I paid for. I'm sorry. That shouldn't be too much to ask. I gave 2 star because I was actually pleased before, but my trust in ABC has diminished at this point in time. read more

I went from Ants being the pests to ABC being the Pests. What sounded like a simple task of finding someone to treat, and kill the ants, has turned into a expensive life lesson. I talked with the rep about treating the ants. I repeatedly said I did not want any ongoing protections. If they are unable to kill the ants, just let me know. I agreed verbally to 2 treatments to get rid of the problem. I signed the credit card authorization when requested. Turns out, the authorization is a contract for 12 months to the tune of $523. After I paid for my 2 treatments, I enclosed a note to cancel any future treatments. I was billed $165 for early cancellation. (Line 26 paragraph b) When I called, I didn't dispute that I signed a contract because they enclosed it with the invoice. I did ask why they even have that charge, and was explained that "We have that so that our salespeople can get their entire yearly commission", "If we didn't have it, EVERYBODY could cancel their program". Seriously??? Take advantage of consumers just to pay your salespeople a commission to deceive. Be aware and sceptical of what you sign with this company. read more

like the review from Paul, I never write negative reviews but Ive also never had as negative as an experience as with ABC. Do not give these guys your business. Theyre completely unprofessional and trick you into additional services by not telling you what youre signing up for. Dont get tricked by them. Save your money and go to someone more reliable and professional. I sure wish I would have. read more

This is the very worst termite inspection that I have ever had. They lied about going into my attic. I was present they didn't even ask about the attic. They claimed that clutter and snow prevented them from making an accurate appraisal. The snow had melted from beside the house. (it was near the house, however my inspection after they left to see where they had gone showed snow had melted from the walls of the house). They did not look at the sides of my house (no foot prints leading to those areas of the house) Remeber there was snow near the walls- less than three inches. They did not even go into the back yard. (again no foot prints leading to that part of the yard. They tried to enter into my house without even knocking. Only a locked door prevented this. I was with them throughout the complete inside of the house. They did not even try to look at most of the walls. They didn't look inside cabinets and two of my closets they didn't even open . Not to mention that one employee was rude. the trainee was polite- probably becasue he was a trainee. They said they went around the house but when they came to collect the check, there was not any snow on their shoes or their booties. Which is why I went outside to see exactly where they had gone. The only footprints in the snow where mine. They wouldn't even try to look under the stairs despite the fact that I can easliy go back to the point where you look under the stairs. (this is where my still standing Christmas tree is normally stored) IF YOU NEEDED THINGS CLEARED FOR YOU TO LOOK THEN I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD BEOFRE THE INSPECTION. WE WOULD HAVE CLEARED EVERYTHING TO INCLUDE THE SNOW SO YOU COULD WALK THROUGH 3" TO GET TO THE BACK YARD. read more

Will was our technician this last time around and took the time to call and explain exactly what he did for our service, and also what suggestions he had. Really appreciated his extra efforts and love our service! read more

These people are crooks. They make you sign a "contract" for 12 months. They took my credit card information, showed up one time, then sent me a bill several months later, which I paid. Now they are demanding almost $400 through a collection agency even though they never showed up again! Avoid! read more

The company provides a good service still, but the demeanor of the office staff has changed significantly over the last 1.5 yrs and is now quite rude. Considering changing companies because I prefer to put my money toward a company that values my business. read more
