The selection of siding, mouldings, hardwood, wall coverings, etc., is staggering. They also stock stains & sealers, concrete, mortar, sand, and pier blocks. Plus all the nuts, bolts, glues, and screws you can think of to complete any project. I don't even mind tagging along with my husband -the home improvement guru and Master wood worker- because the store is clean and there's so much to see. It's big but not too big and well-lighted too. Nice, helpful people will answer every question you may have. It's a little farther than our local Big Box store but to not have to have that Big Box experience is worth the extra driving. Excellent quality and great prices as well.

Unfortunately, it was a little damaged and I didn't want to take on the repair. But that's how shopping here goes: check the inventory frequently, cross your fingers that they have the right size or enough of the thing you need, and accept that even if it doesn't work for you it is going to a better home and not the dump. They've got inventory of all kinds, but I'd say primarily it's cabinets, sinks and tubs, lighting, wood, doors and windows. They do have a website with some online inventory and you can always call ahead to see if something is still in stock. I especially appreciate their education opportunities. I've taken a few classes about building tables, and a little free library, and I'm signed up for my next class with them about tiling!

Their lovely showroom and a huge warehouse full of slabs (granite, quartzite, marble, limestone, Neolith, and more) is located on SE 26th. I had the pleasure of taking a guided tour of the facility. Customer service was excellent, you can tell these folks care about what they do and want to see your project succeed. They're honest about the realities of natural stone (like staining and etching) so you can make the right choice. They use a $-$$$$ system to communicate approximate price levels. When choosing natural stone, you really have to see the entire slab - and for many of these stones, people have an emotional reaction. So it makes sense that this facility is a pleasure to visit. It's almost guaranteed you will leave inspired.

Their website is also top notch. Their website shows available inventory and incoming inventory, of which customers can put holds on, before they arrive. Their staff are very nice and helpful. Beverly suggests making an appt before you come in, to insure that there's someone present to assist you with any questions. When Drew is there, he can give you even more details on the slabs. We were in yesterday, and he moved some slabs with the forklift, to get one I wanted to see. He brought it out into a space near the door, so that we could see it in natural light. If there's something on their website that you like, call for an appt first, so that they can find it for you, as they are still currently moving into this new location.
