Stopped by to pick up souvenirs. They have a lot of stuff and at the moment, as of November 2025, Hello Kitty items, from dolls, key chains, to beach towels, seems to be selling. In additions, they have all sorts of typical nick nacks, trinkets, key chains, sunglasses, sundries, cookies, drinks, etc. If you purchase $100 or more worth of items, you qualify for free gift items, such as tote bag, mugs, etc. You can easily spend hundreds or more dollars. read more

This ABC store was the first souvenirs store we saw when we came a shore, this is basically a huge chain of convenience stores in Hawaii. This is a really huge store, I literally had to wait to get into the store, it was so crowded in here, every aisle was pack with people looking for that special Item to take back home, there is a wide selection of items here, clothes,food, candies, fruits, snacks, unique gifts and of course tons of souvenirs, but not a single souvenir of the Island of Kailva Kona Hawaii, If you spend over $100.00 here you can pick one free gift from a Hawaii coffee cup, calendar or a reusable tote bag, there are only two cashiers working here, the staff were all friendly and kind. read more

ABC stores are everywhere, but this one has the most customer focused staff. It goes beyond customer service. They think ahead and wrap fragile items, try to understand what I'm looking for point out alternative items, and make me feel valued. Lots of variety from quick foods, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, beach stuff, convenience items, and household supplies! This location is well stocked and well maintained. read more

They have the a lot of unique tote bags that you can't find on the main land! I got a few hello kitty totes for gifts. I would definitely recommend stopping by as a one stop shop if you're trying to bring back last minute gifts. There's tons of snacks and drinks to choose from if you're trying to stock up on goodies for the trip to the other side of the island. The store is right across from the Kona Kat Kafe ;) read more

ABC stores are always a fun place to shop for gifts to bring back or something cool you can't get anywhere else. It was easy to find, clean and the employees were nice. ABC Stores in Hawaii stands for "All Blocks Covered" .. they are everywhere. You can't swing an afflicted cat without hitting the next ABC Store.. As a tourist in Kona, if they don't have it, you couldn't possibly need it .. from Hawaiian clothing, liquor, Hula purses, sandals, carved surfboards to personal toiletries !! ABC stores are ubiquitous on the islands of Hawaii and a must visit! You're always warmly greeted with an "Aloha" upon entering. Every ABC store is different and we enjoy the variety. This is the place to go for souvenirs, t-shirts, Island sweets, crack seed, and other assorted finds. It's so easy to spend over $100. When you do you are given a free gift. This store is located in the complex of stores attached to the Courtyard by Marriott. Every time we visit Hawaii I end of doing most of my gift shopping at an ABC store. The selection and prices are usually very good. The stores vary in size according to location but this store is pretty big and has a nice variety of items. Beside souvenirs, they have beer for takeout (to your room). Also, fresh fruits, candies and other sweets, t-shirts, sunglasses, and thousands of things you may need for your vacation that you forgot or may need. ABC Stores are the best stores. Its undeniable. I came in to get a hoodie because I was cold that evening. As I walked around I decided that I was just going to stock up on the goodies I was going to get for my kids. I got some bracelets for my daughter. A shirt and some tribal like things for my son. I also got an underwater camera for our snorkeling day we had planned. Plenty of shirts to choose from for all of the kids. Even got one for myself. My hoodie is so cute. I wear it all the time. I even got the cutest tube top dress to wear on our boat trip. We stocked up on chocolate covered macadamia nuts and other Hawaii centric treats. It was convenient to just get this part of what I needed to do done on my trip. The items are all quality. Plus the service is always very nice. read more

Really great pricing for product here. Lot of options and best place for getting souvenirs. They are a chain of gift store and we saw 3 of them during our less than 1 mile walk in kona town. They do sell drinks too along with other stuffs for grabbing it on the go. read more

This location is located at the Courtyard Marriott. The staff was always very friendly, they have everything you could possibly need from clothing, souvenirs, floaties, snorkel gear, liquor, food, snacks, drinks, readymade food and even a microwave to nuke frozen food. We have bought pre-made food out of desperation. The pesto pasta salad was decent. And I almost bought all of the Asia Trans Lihing Mui strawberry belts at $2.99 a pop. They were my weakness. Unfortunately, they didn't carry the lighter my niece bought at an ABC store on Oahu in June 2021 that she wanted replaced. I even checked different stores. No big deal. This is an island tourist must. Every kind of souvenir you can possibly want and a free gift when you spend $100. Got a Kukui Bead Lei, and our favorite Old Pali Road whiskey. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Only found on the Kona side of the island. Not able to find this gem in Hilo. If you want it they will have it. read more

Great place to find almost anything you need on vacation. Snacks, cookies, great local drinks, every few blocks you can find another store. In a one mile radius I believe there were 4 of them. I like to get large bottles of water here. Sun screen, tees, towels are all available as well as snorkels pareos and hand cream. Postcards and stamps too. read more

I love ABC Stores - every island of Hawaii has several of these essential stores that seem to have everything you can possibly need: groceries, gifts, clothing, snacks, drinks, meds, toiletries, you name it. I even go to ABC Stores in Vegas to buy bottled water and snacks when I get the chance! This particular ABC store is located inside the King Kam Hotel, so it was super convenient. Its also very accessible from the outside, from Palani Rd or Alii Drive. I like how accumulation of $100 worth of receipts entitles you to free gifts. We bought several things here: * Suntan lotion spray (Banana Boat SP50) * Bottled water * Mac Nuts for gifts (Moana Loa Gift Pack) * Hot Spam Musubi (5 stars) and two cups of instant noodle for the long flight home (4 stars). read more

I took my 10-year-old here to buy a Hawaiian dress. She didn't find any she liked, but she found a hoodie with matching shorts, a different T-shirt, perfume that was named after the same flower she is, fake leis, here and various Nick Mack's. We spent about $120 and she skipped out of there happy as a clam. She was also thrilled she got to pick out a Hawaiian Hello Kitty bag for us purchasing more than $100 worth of goods. read more

Pretty much a souvenir shop with a few supplies and the what not. Hawaii is an expensive state, but thankfully this place isn't too bad. These stores are scattered around Hawaii and this one is a bit more difficult to get to because of the parking situation. It's not exactly conveniant, but if you're doing shopping in the area, then why not. I like this chain and it pretty much helps those who are not familiar with the area. I just visited this store for a few sovouriners and and I slightly adjusted my mask and within the two seconds of me arranging the mask around my nose Donna rudely and with attitude told me to pull up my mask ( that was already up ) it was completely uncalled for. I am fully vaccinated and the mask never left my face. Poor customer service and after a year and a half of covid she should have accessed the situation/ let me finish the 2 second adjustment on my face before running her mouth at me. read more

I love, love, love, these stores. You cannot walk out of this store empty handed. I went in to pick up a few things for coworkers and friends and ended up with almost $70 worth of items!!! This time, everyone was sold out of the Hawaiian slippers...and my puppy at my last pair. So, we decided to check down here before.we.left and poor! There they were! These stores are great for the tourist. When you need something to eat, drink or a souvenir they are everywhere. This one was right across the street from where we got off the tender from our cruise ship. They had cold drinks on sale so we stocked up and even bought a few souvenirs. 4.5 stars! It's not a visit to Hawaii if you don't go to an ABC store at least once! These stores are everywhere, sometimes within blocks of each other! (There are at least two more in walking distance of here). Need a super touristy souvenir of Hawaii? Forgot a beach towel or sunscreen?? Feeling a bit snacky or thirsty??? ABC can take care of all of that for you! This location is actually connected to the Courtyard Marriott King Kam Hotel. There's an entrance from the hotel and also an entrance from the outside on Palani Road. They sell beach towels, beach mats, sunscreen, T-shirts, keychains, (fake) plumeria hair accessories, cell phone cases, reusable bags, Hawaiian/aloha shirts, flip flops, calendars, Mauna Loa and Hawaiian Host macadamia chocolates, Kona coffee, bath and body stuff like soaps and lotions and lip balm, ukuleles, hats, (fake) leis, and more! When I was there, they had some T-shirts on sale for $5. Some of the items they'll sell in bunches packaged in a plastic tote, like six boxes of macadamia nut chocolates, and it ends up being a few cents cheaper per box by buying it in bulk. And they must have some partnership going on with Sanrio, because they have a bunch of Hello Kitty products. HK beach towels, HK reusable bags, HK post-its, HK cell phone accessories, HK dolls, and HK T-shirts. And some of the HK items are specific to Hawaii or ABC. One of the HK cell phone accessories was a Hello Kitty wearing a shirt with the ABC store logo. One of the (cheaper) reusable bags is of a tan Hello Kitty in front of an ABC store. Very cute! Then there's the food food. Alcohol, bottled water, juice, soda, Kona chips, coconut syrup, bread, etc. They have refrigerated drinks and adjacent to that, they have pre-made food for takeaway - like sandwiches, fruit salads, and regular salads. Next to that area, there's a little hot food case thing that has SPAM MUSUBI!!! Yum! That makes the perfect snack and it's still warm! Yes, the prices were not the cheapest, but I didn't think the prices were unreasonably high either. You are paying a little bit more for convenience. But it's fun going into ABC. And you'll probably walk out buying something that you forgot to pack or didn't even know you needed. Aloha! read more

Great store if you want to get nice deals on souvenirs. Also good for locals, save your receipts and when you spend $100 you get a gift (gift varies I believe.) Picked up last minute gifts there and it was cheaper than the stores around, but some stores had more options. Like the chocolates.
