Usually for the houses I flip, I pick a package that's in stock. There are pretty good selections. Stainless steels, Black, name brands, and etc. There's also scratch and dents selections for deep discount counts as well. If there is a particular appliance that you are looking for, just ask and they will try to get it for you. I was able to get my appliances for way cheaper than what Best Buy was offering. Home Depot and Lowe's didn't have my brand/model. So I'm super happy about that. They also deliver and set up your appliance. The delivery guys were quick with the set up and nice. FYI - There's no "showroom" and it feels like a mom and pop shop you're walking into so keeping an open mind will help the experience LOL!!

The prices are great, but the appliances are hit or miss. We purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator…read morethat lasted less than a year before a No Stuff technician came out and could not figure out the issue--absolutely no help. We hired our own technician who figured out the issue, the fridge had a hole causing the Freon to leak, after which our technician discovered was just a symptom of a bigger issue. Honestly, I would not recommend this business because the unreliability of the quality of the product you receive along with the lack of help to resolve any issues. After this purchase I have vowed to only buy appliances directly from the original stores along with a warranty. The headache and extra money that we had to put in to repair the refrigerator was not worth it.

It's a recycling…read morecenter so it's dirty, it's loud, it's busy, it's confusing, they close early (3:45PM), they aren't open weekends, the location can be difficult to get into or out of (depending on traffic), etc... So why the five star rating? They pay good money for your scrap metal and it's relatively quick and easy. I've been here several times over the years. My wife saves all our aluminum cans (crushed and in large trash bags) and other metal scraps. On my most recent visit I had half a dozen or so large trash bags of crushed aluminum cans and some miscellaneous aluminum pieces that netted me about $30. On my previous trip I had cans and some old gutters which got me $44. Okay, you're not going to get rich on this but it makes a difference. The whole experience is pretty quick and painless as it usually takes me about an hour to load the truck, drive to recycling center, unload, get paid and return home. Not a bad payout for minimal effort. The yard is set back from S. Military Hwy. in Chesapeake just east of the Gilmerton Bridge. After you turn off S. Military into the business you will be mostly driving on dirt so don't head over there after a fresh wash job on your truck. Pull up on the scales and give the attendant your name then head into the yard. Make sure you are wearing a face mask or they won't let you in as they have COVID protocols in place. If you aren't familiar be sure to ask the attendant what to do. The attendant will ask you what type of scrap you have then direct you to the appropriate area where you will have to wait for another employee to assist you. It's all pretty quick and painless. You unload your scrap as directed, fear not as they will help you if you need or desire assistance. After you've unloaded just head to the inside scale area as directed where they will weigh your scrap then direct you into the office where you will show the attendant your ID then receive your cash. From there just get back into your vehicle and exit the yard. It's just that easy. All the employees I've dealt with on my visits have been pleasant and very helpful so you don't have to worry about not knowing what to do when you get there. I think it's great to have this facility available where we can get rid of some scrap and get a few dollars. Thank you Elizabeth River Recycling for making it so easy.

This Tidewater Sew-Vac is located in the London Bridge Plaza Shopping Center. This is basically…read morejust north of the intersection with Virginia Beach Blvd. The way the shopping center is set up, you may not easily see it from the road. Parking seemed to be fine when I was there, but I could see it fill up if multiple places there get busy. My first visit here was on February 1, 2025 and would be back several weeks later. The reason for the visit was to have a few sewing machines my mom has looked at due to some issues with them. The staff were very friendly and were able to listen to the issues and look for a plausible solution for the sewing machines. After that, my mom and I decided to go ahead with having the sewing machines looked at and also to have a tune up done on each. They did note that it could take several weeks, but that wasn't an issue. When it comes to payment, for the tune ups, you have to pay 50% of the cost at drop off and the remainder, including any taxes, when you pick them back up. I did take a look around the inside of the business as well. They have quite bit of stuff to choose from too. As expected, there is an area for Sewing Machines and another for Vacuums. There is also an area for fabrics too. A few weeks later, the sewing machines were ready for pick up. It took another week for us to get back there due to other things going on and the snow that we had at that time. When we did make it in for the pickup, the process was pretty easy. There is also a 30 day guarantee, so if you have any issues arise within that 30 day period, they will diagnose and fix at no cost. Overall, the experiences were excellent here. They were up front with everything along the way. I could tell very quickly that they were knowledgeable about the products they had to offer, along with the tune up info. It's hard to find places like this that you feel like a person instead of a number. If you need to have any servicing and such done for sewing machines and vacuums, this place is definitely worth checking out.

My shipmate who ordered reached out and they said there's nothing they can do. I spent $125 on this and they won't even make a new one with the correct spelling of my name? Unfortunate. I won't recommend this company to anyone who is getting anything customized. Product would've been nice if it weren't for the fact that they're unwilling to replace their mistake. Then the owner wanted to lie on Google reviews and say i had an email with the name "Jeffery Mitchell. " There was never an email chain. My coworker physically gave printed sheets of paper from fltmps with our names printed on it and when she called to let them know there was an error and their response was that there was nothing they could do about it now. Please explain why, if there was an email chain showing the name given was Jeffrey Mitchell, my paddle says "Jewel" Instead of Jewelle. This is a prime example that even as a civilian, the chiefs mess cannot be trusted. I hope those who "google it out" find this review helpful.

( At least she makes us feel that fancy! ) She was attentive, kind, personable and a great listener. We came in looking for several different pieces including diamond solitaire earrings and gold necklaces and they were able to provide everything we needed at an exceptional value! We were very impressed by their pricing compared to Kay's. ( Even though we later learned they are sister companies! ) It really was a one stop shop for us. I even came back to exchange a pair of studs for a larger size and it was an easy breezy transaction. No questions asked! This location will be our first stop for all jewelry needs in the future. Customer service is so important to us and every time we stepped foot in that door we were greeted with warmth and everyone was attentive. We truly felt like our business mattered and that goes such a long way. Thank you Zales for making our shopping experiences so wonderful!
