First, ABC has a monopoly in the local area as they are one of the only TRICARE referal approved service providers. So unless you are willing to pay for services out of pocket your options are limited. This is a fact I did not know when we first moved to Ohio. My son has been a patient at ABC Pediatric for almost 3 years receiving speech related therapy. There is a high turn around of staff here. In that time the practice moved from their previous location to this site and he has had 4 different speech therapists all with a different style and with a different approach. Each time we have had to allow for a readjustment period and speech is one of those faith based areas where you have to provided time to assess progress so I was patient. In the beginning of our treatment, I would get tools to reapply at home and weekly updates and progress notes. Now I have to beg for copies and remind the therapist to provide me with updates. ABC does not provide testing to measure speech goals in the long term. Recently, I have found that they review your intake and create goals based on your preference. They do not seem to have a goal schedule or a reevaluaiton plan until you as the parent ask for progress or mention a review is needed. Again, this was not my initial experience so it feels like there isn't alot of supervisory oversight. Reception is an entirely different experience. Sarah is extremely nice and professional. However, any other interaction I have had with another receptionist has made me feel like a number or an after thought and not a patient with specific needs if that makes sense. They are diligent about getting you on the books if you need to reschedule almost to the point of a sales pitch. During peak areas, the reception area is insanity. There are never enough chairs, kids are screaming, the carpet is dirty and you are just praying that your therapist comes out to get you soon. Therapist have a habit of coming out and giving parents updates about the session in the middle of this chaos which I find very strange since there should be a level of privacy but parents don't object. With that said, it doesnt leave a lot of time to ask addiitonal questions as the family after you is staring you down waiting on the therapist to finish the hand off. In the back therapy area it makes sense why they come out to speak with parents because they have an array of improvised treatment areas for the span of areas they provide service for but they all overlap. I had to request that my son have a treatment area with minimal distraction and that required coordination which I also found strange that it would be an accomodation that would take effort for speech related issues. Maybe the other locations are different, but I am giving this location a two because I know the staff means well and everyone is nice but the overall experience is not what it should be and there is alot of room for improvement and I would have wanted to know all of this before we had started this journey.

In less than 48 hours my mother was taken, by ambulance, to the ER for shortness of breath. I stopped by one week later to give them an update to find her room cleaned out & her belongings boxed up! We never rec'd written notice or a phone call re: "bed hold", which I am only now familiar with. Now the staff & administration are lying trying to cover their tracks because they did not adhere to the state standards and requirements. The food, when delivered to her room, was ice cold, inedible. The evening aide turned the a/c, in her room, to 62 both nights. That was the care she got overnight. I do not recommend Cypress to care for your loved ones.

There was a young guy who came in every night before leaving who washed if I needed anything before he left for home. I can not say that there wasn't a person who wasn't caring and nice. I can only speak of my experience there and I was so thankful that they got me strong enough to go home. Also the family must stay involved with your care. At any nursing facility it's a must. Thanks to all who was involved of my care. The food was okay. If they had something that I didn't care for they offered me something else. I recently spent time at Kettering Medical Center while my mom was having surgery, and I have to…read moresay, this place goes above and beyond the "typical hospital" experience. The surgery went very well (huge relief), and every single staff member we encountered was supportive, kind, and genuinely friendly. Hospitals can be stressful places, but the people here do an amazing job of making you feel cared for and not just like "Patient #342B." The facility itself is spotless and surprisingly warm for a hospital setting. It doesn't feel cold or sterile, it almost feels like more than a hospital, like a place designed to comfort as much as it heals. There are plenty of waiting areas, good signage so you don't get lost in a maze of hallways, and even a cafeteria in the basement (Cafe on the Boulevard) for when you need a break and a burger. On a personal note, I was here 15 years ago to give birth to my daughter, and it's remarkable how much the center has improved since then. They've continued to grow, modernize, and somehow get even better at what they do. If you're looking for a hospital that combines top-notch medical care with a team of people who treat you with genuine kindness, Kettering Medical Center is it. No one wants to spend time at a hospital, but if you have to, this is a pretty great place to be.

I was told I have several conditions- none of which another hospital, a good cardiac care hospital -didn't find. The labs were lost, the nurses hurt me and I was "discharged"- awaiting transport. They left me to be observed, while in atrial fibrillation for 6 hours. I suffered. They didn't care. Do not go there.

They always have an attitude, are unable or unwilling answer questions about your care, are snarky and completely unprofessional. We have been using them for allergy shots and care for the vast majority of the two years. Again the doctor is great but the staff are going to be the reason we leave.

The phone was answered by a person at the Centerville. The person I spoke to was helpful but told me it would be week before the person that writes prescriptions returns to work on Jan 6. I get that it is the holidays! At this point I am out of medications and hoping I can get it delivered this week.
