I have dealt with Chandler Guitars (UK) since they first started in a tiny little shop the other end of Sandycombe Lane and I have NEVER, EVER had a bad deal from them. Doug, Paula and Charlie (who now has his own store) treat all their customers with honesty, integrity and professionalism. (Check out their client list). Their prices are fair, their repairs and upgrades are the best in town and their attitude to their customers suits this Londoner down to the ground. No schmalz, no condescenscion and no supersize pricing. Just straight, honest business.

Staying true to the beginners, lots of neatly kept reading and music material can be found across a large range of subjects from self-teaching to advanced sheet music. All the usual music industry consumables can be found around the shop like drum sticks, plectrums and guitar pedals. Look out for the guitar strap section: they have some really cool ones, so you can look really good while serenading your neighbour's daughter with your own version of "Sweet Home Alabama". Ritz Music also has a repair shop upstairs in case any of your bedroom head banging gets out of hand.

This is Bedford's only actual music shop - the only problem being that not many people realise that…read moreit's there! It does take a good 10 minute walk away from the shopping centre to find it and if you didn't know Bedford I doubt you would ever be able to find it! They stock a good range of things in this shop although the majority are guitars. They also teach instruments in the studios above. Next door (linked inside the shop) there is a repair studio, headphone and disco shop. As there are no other music shops in Bedford, prices aren't very competitive. If you are interested in music and live in Bedford, going to this shop is a must!

My Buyer return the guitar under this claim with big who ha. i have taken the guitar to another luthier near me, they have service it no problems and clearly do not know why Neil would state this, as it is clearly playable.
