From our initial phone call--where she thoughtfully asked about our child and answered all our questions--her warmth and professionalism were evident. Her genuine love for children and personable nature put us completely at ease. Paulette arrived well-prepared with fun, age-appropriate toys, and our little one bonded with her almost instantly. She cared for our child over three days, giving us much-needed and worry-free adult time during our vacation. The experience was so positive that we will absolutely request Paulette again on our next visit to Maui. We only wish she lived closer to home! When this happened to me, the manager did not have my back, even though I have been kind, polite and generous to every family. That does not vary. The second time this happened, a year and many sits later, I had gotten the time wrong because it was changed, and when the family complained, the owner demanded I pay her the money I earned from the sit...Once I paid her, she and her husband ghosted me...They had hired me as an independent contractor, and therefore I was also ineligible for unemployment...And so I have been struggling to pay my rent since... I spent several years working for them and made them a lot of money, and at the end, I was just ghosted...And I am not the first nanny who has been hurt this way...I've also heard accounts from others, which is why I've decided to speak out against them...

Im really disappointed with the new management There are…read moretwo courts specifically built for racquetball and handball (That's the only reason many of us joined the ymca ) And the management tries over and over to turn it into everything else except what it was built for And every time we have a new management we have to go through that again There are members who come from other islands to play and from the mainland to play just to find out you don't know for sure if you can play This is unacceptable Please do the right thing and use the courts for what they were built for !

Tiffany is wonderful with her children and loves them like her own. The education and structure she provides is above and beyond what I could have hoped for. The only downside to this preschool is that the kids get really dirty since the play area is mostly sand and after it rains, the kids can get bad mosquito bites if they are prone to getting bit.

I handled the initial service request with Jennifer before handing her off to him. I was shocked at her condescending response to him, "You will have to get that from Aimee - I don't do receipts for nannies. Remember, I'm just the referral agency they are not my employees." Another email, "I apologize, not sure why I would have the receipt for her payment in cash?!" She appears to be very rude and demeaning and does little to mask her annoyances which is disheartening because I was informed her nannies were pleasant and well liked. Her behavior is totally opposite of the aloha spirit the islands are known for so if you're looking for a patronizing attitude, she's your gal.

We had the pleasure of having Tiffany watch our kids during our last trip to Maui. She was given a…read moreHerculean task of watching four kids aged 6, 4, 3 and 12 months. This was the first time the two youngest had been watched by a baby sitter and not a family member. Tiffany came in like a boss, grabbed the 12 month old and instilled a tremendous amount of confidence that she could handle our little guy (as well as the others) who is not an easy baby by any measure. She texted us pictures throughout the evening and followed all of our requests exactly. She came prepared with games and crafts and glow sticks which were the biggest hit of the night. The kids were bragging about the wind chimes they made and talked to us about how much fun they had. Maybe the biggest compliment of all is that the kids were all asking where Tiffany was in the morning. We highly recommend Tiffany and hope to use her again in the future.

I ended up buying a Maui Country Club pickle ball shirt that looked like new, and the price range up as $6 versus the $9 I expected based on the store signs.
