So...you may ask why a random dude from Toronto, Canada is writing about ABC Global. It's a good question...with a slightly complex answer...you see, long before I embarked on my present glorious career, I laboured in retail. I paid off my undergrad tuition selling shoes and fancy skiwear and sporting goods, in bricks and mortar stores and trade shows and pop-ups...even before there was such a term. It was a fun way to make a buck, but at times frustrating, especially when our credit card payment systems would go down when we were off-site (I once worked a tennis tournament where this happened. I also saw Victor from the Young and the Restless naked. Both experiences scarred me for life). I've kept in touch with the friends I made at those jobs, several of whom have gone on to set up their own shops, pop ups and trade show booths. Which is how I come to ABC Global. i hung out with one such enterprising friend recently, who recounted the horrors of starting her business-especially the hassles involved chasing down payments gone awry. She mentioned that when she started accepting credit cards with ABC global for her pop up shop she didn't know what to expect. She had more than her share of challenges with other companies (best left unnamed)...she signed on with ABC Global about five years ago and her tune has changed. She raves about what a positive experience it's been and how it's facilitated her small business' growth into a bigger small business. Most importantly, it's brought a bit of piece of mind. Where she encountered issues the executive manager was able to address them readily, often same-day (and I work in government. Nothing works that fast around here). In one case, her bank messed up a deposit in ways that I cannot fathom. ABC Global jumped on board by working with the bank, helped her fix the problem and provided assurance that her funds were being routed to the correct account quickly...and they were deposited the next day...which is key when you're a small time player and rely on liquid cash to be able to keep inventory rolling, pay off landlords and otherwise deal with the joys of small business ownership. So, it's an anecdote, from a remove, but a powerful enough story to warrant a shout-out. My formerly frazzled friend is now slightly less frazzled, thanks to ABC Global. read more

Are you looking for a Merchant Services Provider? CONSUMER BEWARE !! It starts with your "phone call" to ABC Global Systems inquiring about services. Note: DO NOT SIGN any contract based on verbal promises. My sales Representative, DERWIN WILLIAMS was actually very, very nice on the phone. Warning.. He will verbally promise you things. *!* Get it in writing or you WILL BE sorry. I regret trusting him ! Beware.. If the application doesn't have everything promised "in writing" GET IT CHANGED before signing. ***DO NOT TRUST THEM !! *** they are not honorable. Darwin will not stand by his word!! Their practice is as follows.. * initial phone conversation* You will be asked general questions about your business. Then the pricing fun begins.. I was initially quoted a monthly service fee of $30 per month. I said No! I felt it was high and more than I wanted to spend. How about $15 per month? Try it for three months and if you don't like our service you can walk away. I said No! He's very personable and will keep trying to convince you. After telling him I was inclined to use a pay per swipe service Darwin promised me service at $10 per month and if I'm not happy we simply part ways. You would assume the verbal agreement is what you would receive. NOT!! Don't become a victim.. They have a gimmick! There are two important documents. The ***APPLICATION CONTRACT*** with SOME fees listed. AND the ... ***EQUIPMENT CONTRACT***. *****Keep reading and you'll catch on..***** At this point our verbal agreement is for $10 per month! If I'm not happy I walk away! In order to process credit cards you will need a card reader. They will offer you their free equipment program. ***This is where they scam you!! *** DO NOT SIGN IT!! I questioned Derwin regarding the fees listed on it and was verbally assured I would only pay the $10 service fee agreed on. *** Regardless of what they promise you.. by signing the (free equipment offer) you will be bound by the $30 monthly service fee plus $7.50 compliance fees listed on the free equipment agreement. It supersedes any other agreement made. They will tell you it's a standard form for the equipment and that you will be charged what was agreed on. GET THE AMOUNTS LISTED CHANGED BEFORE SIGNING. It's how they get you! *** Look at your Application Contract! The Monthly service fees, annual fees and closure fees you would want to know are left blank. It's on purpose so that by signing the free equipment order you become bound by the new terms. Protect yourself and only sign the free equipment offer if the fees listed on the application match what you were expecting. Do not trust that they will be charging you the amount verbally agreed on!! ACH debits appear without ABC GLOBAL as the source .. the first month I didn't question the charges. I should have!! The second month I did and learned the charges were from ABC Global. I call Derwin and he assured me it was a mistake and he would fix it. I get an email from Ana Bota their chargeback analyst saying that I agreed to a $30 per month service fee and $7.50 compliance fee. What!!! No we didn't. We debate the claim thru several emails. Rather than honor the verbal agreement I was forced to accept a 6 month credit rather than the refund I asked for. I was told the best they would do is honor the $10 per month service fee and reduce the compliance fees to $5.50. I agreed.. mistake! A year later and another ACH charge but this time for $89. When I ask Why? it's the Annual Fee. My Application Contract had no amount listed for annual fee ..on purpose? At the back.. of the last page of my monthly statement is a "small print" note saying $89 annual fees due in November.. and that's how you get stolen from. Imho.. Run from this company. ‍ read more

ABC Global Systems is everything I needed for my e-commerce website. From the moment I reached out to them, they were fully engaged in integrated their services with my business. The tech department really knows what they are doing and even regularly checked up on me to make sure everything was functioning great. Response time is almost always on point. Our Empanada spot in NY On Saratoga ave has been using ABC Global Systems for a few years now and the main reason we like working with them so much is the fact that they can always come out to our location to fix our terminals issue and address any concerns we may have, like the time we had a break in and someone stole our credit card terminal along with other things that were missing. ABC Global immediately was able to deliver a replacement for us the same day which allow us to continue process as if nothing happened, and gave us a back up terminal in case this situation ever occurred again. This business steals from small business owners. Under the guise of giving me a better credit card processing fee, they looked at my recent banking info and illegally set up a monthly withdrawal without my signing on to do business. They withdrew $17.45 a month from my bank and I did not process with them. When I brought it to the sales person's attention, she said it was impossible since I had not signed with them. My bookkeeper thought the charge must have been from the company I did sign with. When I went to the company that I was signed with, they said this wasn't their charge. I called ABC Global repeatedly. This took 2 years of $17.45 a month devoted from my account. Finally, they said they realized they made a mistake and if I did sign with them, at a higher monthly price, my savings would be so great as to recoup my $17.45 a month for 2 years. They would not let me out of this!!! Finally in tears, I called my bank and the bank advised me to close my account and being again. This is the type of company ABC Global is. Just got my check from a class action suit against abc global!! Feeling a bit vindicated and at least a small measure of justice. read more

No idea why I haven't reviewed them before, After dealing with so many different merchant processing companies. I finally found ABC GLOBAL SYSTEMS and its been 12 years and theres no chance I'm leaving them . Everyone there has been super friendly and very responsive. They were able to set me up in 24hrs. They might say that they don't have a CANCELLATION FEE but they DO. (and it is heavy, especially for 2015) I personally signed a contract where the salesman told me there was NO Cancellation Fee. We were selling forms then decided to give them away. When I called they said We owed them a $495.00 cancellation fee as stated in the contract. I pulled the contract up and noticed that I had struck a line through the fee portion of the contract., thinking that would cover that issue. but they said look at paragraph such and such and strike throughs don't change anything. When you sign their contract it has caviats, like you have to let them compete with a quote from another merchant or there is a Cancellation fee. Since we did not close our website, there is a cancellation fee. and so on. I have a copy of their Contract and can point out how we got burn't. I would be willing to show you some of the areas where you can be trapped into a large cancellation fee. read more
