My garage door derailed today and the bottom panel was just hanging there. I couldn't even get it closed to figure out what to do later. I called Chris and he came right out since it was an emergency. After all, you can't just leave your garage door open all night. He was very easy to talk to and professional. On top of the repair, he also made a few tweaks to the door and the opener that will help it from happening again and his price was incredibly fair and competitive. The first time Chris fixed our door, it worked great. The torsion springs broke 10/02/19 and they claim to have a 10 year warranty on torsion springs breakage. I've called and left Chris 9 messages in the last 15 days. It's obvious they don't want to cover their warranty, and I would strongly suggest finding a different business to come repair your garage door. One that will stand by their warranty. read more

Kept me informed on everything he was doing, but what I really liked the most was he came in and got the work done without wasting more time just to charge me more money. I don't call anyone else when i have a garage door problem. Chris has always been very polite, friendly, quick to respond even at night. When Chris leaves, everything is working like new, and his prices can't be beat. He was recommended by my son, so I guess he's our family garage door guy. Total A+ service every time! read more

My parents have used Chris every time they've had a problem with the garage door and even when it's been a simple problem say for example something blocking the eyes he has driven out there and charged them nothing. He guarantees his work and he is cheaper and more reliable than the bigger companies. One of the reasons the bigger companies charge you more that's because they have more employees to pay and their work is far less Superior. Chris will take his time and make sure that when he leaves that he doesn't have to come back and repair his mistake because he doesn't make mistakes. And not only that Chris will be very professional and he will explain to you everything that he has done and how to keep an eye on what's going on with your garage door. 6/22/16 I had Chris from ABC install new garage door springs. I comment the two springs don't look like each other, in both diameter and color. I am assured they're ok. 6/23/16, going to work in the morning, garage door comes off track partially and is stuck, wife's car in the garage. I call Chris. Nothing. I call a few hours later. Nothing. I give him until after 4 pm to get back with me. Nothing. Finally, I call another company who shows up within the hour, laughs, and tells me one of the springs I had installed the day before looks used and is likely the problem. This other company replaced the springs, realigned everything, and my garage door works great. Still no call from ABC. 6/24/16 Still no contact from ABC. I put a stop payment on my check. 7/3/16 Chris from ABC calls me at 7:00 AM three times and sends me three text messages (yes, 7 AM on a Sunday), calling me a "F@#$ing piece of S@!t" for putting a stop payment. I told him I'd only talk to him about it in small claims court. He said no, he was coming over to my house right now to either get money or the old springs. Cops were called. We used A.B.C. Garage Door service. The garage door never worked like before he put in new springs that were too small for our heavy wooden door. We tryed several days before we could get you too answer the phone but the opener had a broken gear by then. Then you stood us up three times. We called a recommended service and they had the right springs in their truck, costing us 300 dollars for the right springs and the proper drums. No way to run a business. I will be contacting the B.B.B. and reporting thisfraud. 0 stars. Do not use this company. Thanks for making my 86 year old father loose sleep over this stressful ordeal. read more

ABC garage door repair needs to close their doors. Chris said he would be on sight before 1200 and showed up at 2:30. He came with no ladder and had to use mine, he installed used springs and the wrong spring. He did not have the right tools at hand. He struggled with the install complaining he was tired. 2.5 hours latter he had the door working when he left the garage door had the same problem would not close . His ability to fill out a work order was sad. I put a hold on the check and have not heard from him. I was hoping to hear from him and get his used springs back so he could rip off another customer. He also left tools for me to through in the garbage. He was trying to take my old spring and I said that I wanted them and he said he gives all his old spring to SUB FOR SANTA, get that. I had another company come and confirm that his work was unacceptable, they wrote me a complete statement for future history. nothing wrong with my springs other than they where 15 years old. adjusted the door and lubed, less than one hour. Had ABC out to my house to install some new springs. They finished the job and then I had to call them back minutes later because the door quit working. They came right back. Two weeks later the door stopped coming up. I called a different service and was informed that ABC put the wrong springs in and they were too week for my heavy door. I had to pay 300.00 to get it fixed right. I told ABC about it and they said they would refund me for the repair. I saved the springs for them to use somewhere else. I have called them 5-6 times and have seen nothing. Now they don't answer when I call. Don't use these guys. read more
