This was the second time we had Legacy Doors and More as our contractor. We need our unfinished…read morebasement turned into a comfortable living space. We chose Legacy because it is a local, independent business and he did a wonderful job on our first project, a storage shed for our backyard. The price he quoted was reasonable and fair. The final price was close to the original quote. However, the project took twice as long to complete. Nevertheless, as we saw the progress of the project and the high quality of work being done, we became less concerned about the timeline of completion. We are extremely pleased with the aesthetics of our new living space. More importantly, we watched the construction of Michael's work. He was cognitive of cost, yet he never compromised on the quality and workmanship. Shortly after the job was completed, we had our HVAC technician come in to clean our furnance. The firt thing he said was, "Wow, what a beautiful floor!" Everyone that walks into our basement mentions how beautiful everything turned out. The bathroom with a full size walk-in shower looks far more expensive than it actually cost. We are extremetly pleased with Legacy Doors and More and the subcontractors that Michael hired for the plumbing and electrical work.

Edgar just finished fixing our finicky garage door and was so remarkable that I had to pass on an unsolicited review of his work. You've got a great guy who does honor to the name of a great company. Edgar's a top professional and human, who was expert in his craft, thorough, honest, and quick to identify and resolve current and potential issues. At the same time, he was also very personable, informative, and respectful. One seldom has the privilege of dealing with such a fine combination of professional and personal excellence under one hat. Moreover, while he was here, he offered to take a quick look at our other garage door. While inspecting and lubricating the wheels and joints, he identified a hinge that had lost a bolt and was about to lose the other - likely saving us another call in the not very distant future. Suffice it to say, we'll remain loyal customers and will spread the word any time we have opportunity. We already about the uncommon quality and value Steorts offers. Thanks for running the kind of company one seldom sees, nowadays, and for hiring/training a team that reflects the founders' excellence.

At 7pm, I called they lady and asked when the technician would arrive. She told me that she would call me back after she spoke to the technician. After twenty more minutes passed, I called her again. She said that she couldn't get ahold of her technician but his job on another garage door may be running long. She told me again that she would call me back. By 8:40p, after not receiving another call and a cancelled appointment by the company, I gave up waiting. I had left work early for this appointment and had opened the garage door by hand so I could move vehicles out of the way for the technician. I didn't get so much as an apology from the lady who booked me and no resolve. Will definitely be going with another company who values their customers.
