After recently remodeling my lower level with I previously considered a basement I now have a wonderful downstairs addition to my home and Last month I replaced my windows from Primax and pleased with the quality and installation as I was 15 years ago. During the entire process The owner George took plenty of time listening to find my wants and needs offering several options. With a 20% deposit I agreed to the order for custom measured windows. As promised Project manager Larry came to my home measured and showed me the process of installation, giving me the comfort I made the right decision. The day of installation the job took one day as promised. The trim inside ande out is very well done. I highly recommend Primax for replacement windows. Primax also offers many other services and upgrades from doors, bathrooms enclosures and more.

Thus, I started my journey of multiple quotes. Matt came out to the house and looked at all the windows to generate a quote. He spoke to me about the importance of buying windows rated for your region and the general difference between different types. The next day he and Micah were at my house again to do the measurement. They both were so helpful and informative. I even had a last minute slew of questions that Matt happily and patiently answered for me. When the windows arrived a few months later, they reached out immediately to schedule and gave me a primer on how things would go on the day of install. Everything went per plan and looked better than I could have even imagined. I am so grateful to this team! Long story short, go with Louisville Window Company - their price, communication, and workmanship simply cannot be beat. And, before I forget, their warranty!!! I am so happy to have found them! My house is happy too! (I mean c'mon, it's basically smiling in the pictures!)

I'm having other renos to my home and several other service people noticed these replacement and comments how well these doors were installed. They next replaced custom interior door - also went great. I next had them and other vendors quote some window replacement. They were not the cheapest, but the quality of the door installs were so good, plus they were willing to work with aspects of my security system as well as change the window style from double-hung to casement, so I went with them. It was to be a 2 day installation, but in the middle of day 1, we realized some of the windows weren't manufactured as expected. I immediately contacted Steven, my sales rep. After we spoke for a few minutes, he acknowledged the issue and assured me they would work with me to come to a satisfactory solution. Long and short of it is that they did work with me and we crafted a solution that I'm very pleased with. Plus, I was so impressed with their professionalism that I've now ordered my remaining windows replaced with them. I've read a lot of reviews for many vendors where complaints were made, and often the reviews are negative. I'll say this - renovate enough and you will occasionally run into issues. It happens, even with good companies. But the difference between vendors is in how they handle those issues. The Door Store gets an A+ from me. High quality, excellent service, and highly professional - not just the management but ever single service person in my home. Worth every penny.

We hired this company to remodel our bathroom and it has been an absolute nightmare from start to…read morefinish. After four months, we still do not have a functioning shower. The list of errors is extensive: the flooring was installed incorrectly, the faucet in the tub was incorrect, the shower trim color was wrong and had to be reordered, and the shower door was installed backwards. We have had to micromanage every aspect of the project to catch each error as it was occuring. Each mistake has required a return visit - we are now looking at a 5th return to complete -- and even after multiple appointments spanning four months, the project is still not finished. Each person we've spoken to has simply pointed a finger at someone else. Each correction came with additional fees to correct. No offers to compensate us through discount even when asked. We expected a professional, timely remodel. Instead, we've been left without a shower for four months due to repeated errors and poor quality control. I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
