Stay far away from this company. I would rather stay in jail before I use them. Very unorganized. They're liars and always have excuses.

ABC bail bonds was nothing but amazing to my family. Jilisa went above and beyond. I recommend this place to anyone who needs there loved ones taken care of. amazing people. read more

My brother was detained and held on bail for 2 separate cases. I started to browse some bail bondsmen that were close to me and ended up with ABC, although the communication was good the wait time for release was too long. I had paid for the both bails on Friday few mins before 4 PM which is cut off time for the judges and was told that they will try to post bail asap with no guarantee which was understood. I call back and they told me they couldn't do it so I had to wait till Monday since Brooklyn court bail part is closed for weekend. Monday comes and they post one bail and then the second one on Tuesday and he got released on Wednesday morning. I understand the bail should take 8-10 hours to process but this whole experience has let me down, I wish no one has to go through a time like this but if they do, then do some research and choose wisely. read more

The worst in the industry. They give you the runaround for months before they give your money back. They played so many games. They make you come back again and again. I would never recommend them. They took the money fast and did not plan on returning the money back. Stay far away. read more

They drag you through the mud getting your money back. They give you every excuse in the book why they dont have your money ready. The "person responsible" for making out the checks is never there. You are also not allowed to speak to anyone in "the refund dept". They are so nice to take your money but they dont have intentions to return your money as agreed. There are 10 bail bond companies on the block, definitely try someone else first and try to save this hassle. read more

Liars and thieves. You will be runaround forever trying to get your money back with a different lie for each day of the week. Check out the google reviews, everyone says the same thing. The check is in the mail, the check hasn't cleared, the wire is on its way, come down and pick up the check -- it doesn't matter what lie they tell you, you are not getting your money back unless you get law enforcement involved. Hi Alan, we were told that you were not able to cut the check for the money you are illegally holding from us because you were out of the office today dealing with your sick grandmother. Nice to see you're still able to respond to an honest Yelp review while your poor grandmother is sick. Maybe instead of lying on Yelp you can return the money you stole. This is not a fake review as we all well know. read more

Unfortunately a loved one was in need of the services of a Bail Bondsman & fortunately enough we came across ABC Bail Bonds & they made my entire process painless, effortless & was always very professional the entire time especially in a service like this you are really unsure of the outcome (meaning you do not know if you are getting your collateral back) & I must say my return on my collateral was free of drama, the office staff at ABC kept me abreast of my loved ones status while incarcerated (my situation was rather unique & difficult) & Bail agent Julissa was always a sweetheart & I would not hesitate to recommend ABC Bail bonds read more

I really recommend this place to any one that needs help with a bail bond ! The ones in Brooklyn are not helpfull at all ! Seriously this place is very helpfull and they work with the amount of money you have and stuff like that ! The key is to try to bail the person out as early as possible. read more

I appreciated the professionalism that they produced during my time of need.. Lots of times you read reviews on bondsman's that are very shady, all was upfront with this bondsman & I received my collateral in return with no hassle. The method of check in for my loved one once bailed out was on an app which was hassle free & easy to use... I would highly recommend this Bail Bondsman to any one looking for such a service. read more

Disgusting people, dishonest bondsman. As the other reviewers have noted, ABC will do all they can to not give you your bond money back. I handle some of the biggest criminal cases in the country and these are the most dishonest and unprofessional people I have ever had to deal with. STAY AWAY. read more

The start of the process was very nice. I met with Julissa, Ray and Joanna. Julissa is serious but has a warm aura. Ray is reminiscent of Ice Cube in Ride Along and Joanna is very helpful. All were really nice. They were originally the lowest quote on my bond which was 15k. They said it would be 2950. Everyone else was quoting 34/3500. So I of course chose them. My bail required two signatures and the other signature involved was on a different time schedule. So we were unable to post bond the first day. The second day we were able to reach Joanna and she told us she could pay the 300$ portion she was contributing to the bond and sign her paperwork and I could come in at my convenience and pay the other 2950. I told Joanna that was the total quote i got and she advised i was misquoted and that was the best offer they could make me because the bond requires a minimum of 1500 in collateral, 1160 in insurance premiums and application fees that needed to be paid. Joanna was really nice and very explanatory so I knew from calling around she was prob right. Joanna even offered to keep things simple to use the 300 given by the other signer towards tge premium so I would have no issue with my collateral. Went to the office and everything worked out except for at the last minute finding out there was a fee to have the bond delivered to Rikers and there was also a matter of timing as (understandably so) Ray explained they had already went to Rikers earlier and would need to get a few more bond apps before they would go back. So i opted out of them delivering the bond and delivered myself with no issues. Fast forward to collateral time they were again very pleasant in tracking my collateral I was advised it would be ready for pick up on the Jan 18th by a woman i am not sure who. I then followed up the friday before after realizing monday the 18th was a holiday. I spoke with a gentleman named Chris. He could not offer an exact date stating the girls were not in but said he would check on it and give me a call back before the night was up. No call back. The Monday in question called and spoke with Julie who advised that department was closed and she could see that I was suppose to receive a refund as of that date but it just was not there. FF to date 1/23 the refund was processed incorrectly everyone is unapologetic about it. They are advising it was the insurance issue. They are also advising my receipts do not prove my 1500 collateral went to the court application to prove to me that my collateral was not 1500 and instead 1300 and wallah on the court doc collateral is 1500 just like i and my reciept state. Great people i do not believe I am maliciously being taken advantage of just a screw up of paperwork which is prob just as bad bc they show no consideration for their mixup. Julie is a listen to dispute and not a listen to understand kind of person so that alone was exhausting and unprofessional. I am extremely annoyed as the return policy is 6-8 weeks and everyone there will tell you its usually sooner. I am in my 8th week and hope to God i will not have to sit here for another 8 with this unresolved. read more

Attempted to use the services of this outfit to help someone in need. Presented all required documents and paid fees & collateral in cash. They were supposed to process the person prior to their being transferred to the detention facility - they misrepresented this, indicating that the person was NOT scheduled to be transferred. The next day they called to say my status as a retired person disqualified me. The person in need was transferred, contrary to their representation. They refunded my money, but refused to provide copies of the documents I had signed or any of the documentation I had provided, nor even a copy of the signed papers for the refund. They said that IF I had requested copies that night they would have provided them - but I was so tired after hours of waiting that I neglected to so so at the time. Afterwards they refused on the grounds that the bail arrangement had been voided. They misspelled my name of the refund checks and said "if the bank refuses to process them, let us know and we'll deal with it." No customer service here - you're a supplicant and they owe you nothing. - Steer clear. read more
