Having dealt with bail bonds-people before I could definitely say Empire sets a whole new standard. The staff, particularly Jojo and Major, are patient, accommodating, and friendly. The real standout however is Wendy, who runs the company. She is extremely sympathetic and went above and beyond for us; taking our phone calls and texts all hours of the day, walking us through every step of the process, and accommodating us in ways she didn't have to. She even provided an attorney reference and some legal advice. They really do go by their policy of making an honest 50 cents over a dishonest dollar. If you ever find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to bail out a loved one, definitely call Empire. They treat you like family and will work with you! read more

This place really sucks. They only send out bonds once a day becuase their to cheap to pay their carrier.. They charging all this money for nothing. I would never ever use them again or advise anyone else to either. Once they have your money they dont care. They over charge you too. They are the worse place to go to. I contacted them at 11:45 PM on 12/28/17 and Jason convinced me to use their services. On 12/29/17 as was at their office on Queens Blvd and was treated to gracious, and professional services. I had no prior experience with the criminal justice system or bail company operations. The reception was professional. Rosa ,who handled all of the paperwork was phenomenal, efficient, knowledgeable. She explained the process. I also got to meet the courier who explained what he does. Yes they took my money and gave me a receipt and did the job, a great job I might add. For the last couple of months, we have been dealing with this company and they have been nothing but a burden to me and my family. They gave us the runaround, they were rude, and very unprofessional. Today I spoke with the owner, and he told me that I was hearing this information straight from the horses mouth. He cut me off and told me to let him finish what he was saying and that we needed to stop calling the different offices asking for information. If you plan on using them, please think twice. When my dad was giving the staff stuff they were nice, but now that he is locked up they changed. I dont even live in NY, but for those that do please be careful of what you do because they locking people up for no reason and then you have to deal with these nasty individuals that dont give a care about anybody but themselves. Instead of being straight forward with you, they put you on hold to go confer with someone and you have to constantly call back. Do not go to this place. They worked perfectly fine with us until they took our money, revoked the bond without ANY of the conditions being violated, blatantly lied to our complaints with the state, and refused to work with us. We paid this place so much money so that our family member could sit in jail. We were never able to get our family member out again and beware once you sign that contract and pay that premium, it is virtually impossible to get that money back. That contract is ABUSE of power and the government doesn't do anything about it. I am appalled that they allow businesses like these to continue running. this place takes your money, doesnt post bond for days, then every time you call, all you get is the run around from office to office and snotty people who blow you off and tell you to call back. a waste of time. you're better off getting the money to post bail. read more
