We recieve its over the air signal with a antenna. Things have changed. The broadcast signal has diminished to the point that it is unusable in the early mornings and often throughout the day. Fortunatly, we can still get ABC broadcasting from channel 40. We live on Senset Beach, Pinellas County, less than 30 miles away from 28. 28 is not the only weak signal. In fact, it had become one of the last of all of the main Tampa Bay broadcast stations we could recieve. 8, 10, 13 no longer come through at all. Our view is that the companies began throttling back their signals some time ago. 28 has simply been near the last to do it. We believe this practice to be illegal.

While watching a particular program, it suddenly switches to UniMas programming, leaving the viewers hanging. Sometimes the previous program comes back, missing a chunk of it, but other times it never comes back to the original intended to view program. I find that a lack of respect for the viewers. A few hours later, I changed my mind and canceled the order. I called customer service to confirm the cancellation, and they assured me it was processed and canceled. However, when I followed up to request a refund for the item I never used nor would use I was told that the company has a policy of no refunds on any purchase under $10. The charge was under that amount, so they kept my money despite the order being canceled and before I was using it. This feels like outright stealing. How can a reputable company justify keeping payment for a product or service that was cancelled, simply because the amount is small? It's fraudulent and predatory. Potential customers should be warned: if you place any order under $10 and need to cancel--even hours later and with confirmation--you will not get your money back. I've never encountered this policy at any other legitimate online retailer. It's completely unheard of and leaves a terrible impression of the Tampa Bay Times/Times Publishing Co. Very disappointed and will not do business with them again.
