I thought Deanne King was going to have an organism about the black national anthem. THERE IS NO black national anthem, ONLY ONE, THE STAR SPANGLES BANNER. The station evidently doesn't follow the national directives regarding DEI. Deanne is the token black and the new weekend girl just follows along. Channel 28 has been our goto station in Tampa Bay for decades primarily because of excellent…read moreweather coverage. We also like ABC programming. We recieve its over the air signal with a antenna. Things have changed. The broadcast signal has diminished to the point that it is unusable in the early mornings and often throughout the day. Fortunatly, we can still get ABC broadcasting from channel 40. We live on Senset Beach, Pinellas County, less than 30 miles away from 28. 28 is not the only weak signal. In fact, it had become one of the last of all of the main Tampa Bay broadcast stations we could recieve. 8, 10, 13 no longer come through at all. Our view is that the companies began throttling back their signals some time ago. 28 has simply been near the last to do it. We believe this practice to be illegal.
