They gave us cold drinks at the accident site and let my wife and cat (which was very stressed) sit in their air conditioned truck. When we got to their shop to clean out our RV they offered us popsicles to help with the heat. Everyone there was very nice and super supportive. They even drove one family to their home in War, West Virginia after they could not get a ride.

It was a little after 5:00 pm and after calling several places they were willing to send a tow truck to pick us up. Since they could only carry 2 people in the tow truck, by law, a man, last name Hutchinson, picked up my family in his own truck. They took us to a hotel by their shop and even got a discount on our stay. The next morning, Daniel, (I believe was his name) the mechanic that worked on our vehicle found the problem immediately. He fixed the problem and had us back on the road by 11:00 am. They did not take advantage of our situation and just billed us for the tow and an hour of labor, didn't need any parts. What can I say, they saved our trip and didn't break the bank in the process!

Because the tire on the Range Rover was a unique size unfortunately he didn't have a replacement but was willing to see if he could help us. He was able to plug the tire with his new technique of using a rubber screw with cement I believe it was to give us a temporary fix. He was very informative of what steps he was taking to try to fix it. Even though it was very late Nathan showed up and was so nice. If you have tire issues, need fuel, locked out of your car, or a jump start Nathan with Avid road service is the place to call!

Two tow trucks came…read moreout and left huge gashes and drag marks in my lawn and scattered all of the cinder blocks I had stacked up (we're building a retaining wall) because they were in the way. No regards whatsoever for private property, didn't ask my permission, didn't repair the damage and didn't put my blocks back where they found them. It wasn't my vehicle and it wasn't my problem but they destroyed my property and made extra work for me because I had to restack the blocks, but hey, anything to make their lives easier is the general mindset of service people in Charleston. If I ever do need a tow, I won't be calling these people.

It's been a month, so I'm hoping I got the right towing service…read more Enterprise gave me a new Chrysler Pacifica mini-van with 13,000 miles on it - it made it through 2 days of driving to land me in Charleston, West Virginia. Went out one afternoon to find all electrics dead. AAA responded with Glen's (I believe) and a driver 'Rick' (again, I should've submitted this last month). Great guy - attempted a jump in parking lot of Best Western/Charleston, no dice, he suggested we head over to local Enterprise, we did, they sent us to the airport Enterprise, he took me and the van over there and he waited with me at the desk for keys to a Grand Cherokee (also new) which would ultimately get me through 7 days of driving, trouble-free. Many thanks to 'Rick' and his outfit for the 3 hour investment of time.

Marvin found our location, loaded up the car for a tow on a very busy highway and then delivered the car to a dealership in Charleston, WV. He maneuvered that big truck with such care and experience. He also dropped us at a hotel so we didn't have to walk across several busy roads with our luggage. All the while he was a friendly, calming presence during a stressful time.
