She told me that it would be moist and that it would probably come across as "wet" to some, but I thought it was excellent! The flavor was great and I loved the fact that the icing wasn't extremely sweet. It was not like the typical buttercream icing. I purchased the cake and did not tell others that it was a tres leche cake. (I wanted to see how they would feel about the slightly different texture.) Well, today I saw on Facebook they had a fruit cup with chocolate and pistachio syrup. Okay, I'm down for that! Omg... it's amazing! The chocolate is so rich and creamy. It's a bit overwhelming and the pistachio flavor did get lost in the chocolate. The quality definitely reflects the price though.
