I was going to walk away. But. We had to change to another dentist, and since this place is choosing violence, here we are. My husband and I chose to leave and get a new dentist because not only were we lied to about the cost of visits. As another review stated. They told us a procedure was going to be one price And then directly after it was done , the price was much more at the counter, My poor husband was in agony after his mouth was jacked up during said procedure and then came in for a second appointment to finish his procedure. They put a "In training" person. Who did yet another hack job on my husband's mouth and he was in so much pain. We almost ended up in urgent care. What a mess. So we decided at that point we were going to leave and they refused to send my records and x-rays to our new dentist. Which is crazy since we paid for them, but whatever, walking away. The hygienist I had was always very nice and the dentist was very patient. I have a lot of anxiety, but the front end. Has no clue. Cannot handle insurance and doesn't know their rear from their elbow. Stay clear. read more

Went here twice, once for the initial visit with a dentist and it seemed promising. I never ever saw him again. The second visit I was with a dental assistant and had a cleaning. I felt the pressure of the tiny pointed drill hit one of my front teeth toward the end of the visit for a good second in one spot before the assistant lifted her hand, but I didn't think much of it because she didn't say anything about it. She just paused for a second then wrapped up the visit quickly. I didn't see anything right when I got to the car to inspect the spot. Before leaving that visit I paid something like $50-$70 for the fluoride treatment, as my insurance covered everything else, with nothing else being owed, even after I asked about this charge. This was less than 1 year ago. I started to quickly notice discoloration in that exact spot a hole in my tooth, nothing too noticeable, unless you're close to me. I lost my insurance after leaving the job that supported my insurance about a month after my visit so I did not go back to get it looked at again, as I'm sure they would charge for it. A few months ago I got a call from here stating that I owed just over $50 and when I asked to speak to the billing department about the charge and possibly what could be done about the spot, I was told that I would be getting a call back about it. I never received a call. When I called again about the matter, the same thing was told to me; that I would get a call back from someone who could give me more information. Yet, still, I have not been given a call back. Now I have a spot, a small hole with discoloration that whitening strips do nothing to soothe my new insecurity, on one of my front teeth that was not there before my first visit in the chair, and a possible (and illegitimate) debt hanging over my head. Thanks guys! I will not return here unless it is to get this whole mess fixed. We'll see how this is handled. I will give updates. read more

I went to Abbeville dentistry and I was done wrong. They put the wrong size crown on it was shorter than all my other teeth. And when he was putting it on it hurt so bad. Dr. Clapp did that. And said that Dr adaya. Must have not had gotten all of the root out. So I was left where I can't eat on that side because of the pain and because it's too short. And they didn't do anything to fix it. read more

If I could give no stars, I would regarding this place! My first time there was acceptable. I then made 2 appointments the next week for cleaning, fillings, sealing, and a bite guard to help prevent me grinding my teeth. The young man up front was the one who made the appointments for me. It took about 15 minutes to make these appointments. I wasn't bothered about the time because he was being trained and I understood him asking questions about how to set appointments. The day of my first set of appointments, I took time off from work (not easy since I am a teacher) and drove 150 miles both ways to an appointment. When I arrived, I was told my appointment was cancelled and all appointments are scheduled through the call center. I explained that I made the appointments in the office, but was told that wasn't what the notes on the computer stated. However, NO ONE called me to let me know. They "claimed" I was called by the "call center" because it was in their notes. WHAT A LAUGH!!!!! People, THINK! If I had received any kind of notification, would I have taken time off of work and driven all that way to Amarillo?????? The answer would be NO! Upon arriving I had to deal with a woman with an attitude and who acted like she was doing me a favor by talking to me. How unprofessional is this?!?!? I wish I could say this was an exception, but I am seeing this type of attitude and unprofessionalism in more and more offices. Customers are being treated like they are taking up the office personnel's time. Because of this, I am going to find another dental office and I would NOT recommend this place. I am also thinking about sending them a bill for wasting my time, gas, and time off from work just to be abused. read more

First of all you get your first appointment free, free x-rays, and free consultation with a dentist. That generally costs anywhere from $300-$800. I know crazy!!! The prices are moderately reasonable if you need anything done, but they aren't crazy!!! I am marginally happy with the service. We have four people in our family. Two adults and two children. My husband, oldest child, and I all have good teeth.... my younger son isn't so lucky and the dentist made me feel as if I was the reason he had bad teeth. He was a premature baby and I was very ill during pregnancy and inherently his teeth are weakened. I and my husband are very vigilant when it comes to our and our children's mouths. My 19 year old daughter just had a tooth pulled and was sent home with no pain meds........why you ask????......because the dr didn't sign the prescription and had already left for the day. No one else could write a prescription or call in pain meds. When i called to inquire about why the prescription wasn't signed I was told sorry, mistakes happen. So now my daughter has to suffer through the night due to your negligence. I will never, ever do business with this company ever again. To leave a kid in pain because they are too lazy to sign a prescription is absolutely uncalled for. I didn't want to leave this review but...sorry, mistakes happen! read more

these are very nice people from the front desk help, to the dental asst., and the dentist himself. i had teeth pulled at abbeville w/out any problems nor did i need any pain meds. pain meds. is basicly a 'want' not a need when generally an over the counter pain med. extra st. tylenol/advil will work just fine, however i am not a licensed dr. i am just saying! this has been my experience at abbeville dent. these people in my opinion are awesome! posted by: e. welch read more

Terrible experience. I was lied to about the cost and they were not very gentle at all! I would not recommend going there.
